Answer:	My short answer would be yes. I'm not sure whether there are commercially available tables for it, though. You may have to build one yourself.

Answer:	This is a 1/4" collet router. If you want to use 3/8" (new to me) or 1/2" get a 1/2" router. I've used routers for 45 years. Own a 1/4" and two 1/2" Here's a quick guide: 1/4" router is the most widely useful, can be held in one hand for quick work, your arm doesn't get tired as fast as with a larger router. This one is good for hinge guides and door installs, laminate trimming (laminate trim bits with bearings), round over of the edges of boards or plywood. Makes a neat no slivers edge, get 1/2", 3/4" diameter cove bits (these will make 1/4 and 3/8" from the edge curves) I get these with bearings as well. (If you want less of a curve, use less depth, the curve is not symmetrical--no one will care. This is what I usually grab my 1/4" router for (I've got a Porter Cable 1/4" that's 40 years old. Can't figure out how to take it apart to replace the cord. Rather than a $60 trip to the tool repair I'm thinking of this one, vacuum dust collection is a plus). Shelf dados, usually 1/2 to 3/4" wide, is best done with a more powerful 1/2" router, but you can get by with this with two passes (overlapping) of a 1/2" straight bit. Plunge routing: always use dust collection. Freehand scroll work: 1/8 or 1/4" round bits- I don't do this, others do. If you don't yet have a router, or a specific shop need, get a 1/4". If you think you need one of those $400 router tables: don't. Make your own or buy a jointer. Figuring out how to make a router table will teach you about making jigs (you can make a fence that has finer adjustment than the fanciest most expensive one on the market) Direction of working. There's a correct direction to running a router along the edge of a board. With plywood, pine, fir, spruce, etc.. going the correct way can rip out long splinters. If you first make a very shallow pass in the 'wrong' direction to knock off the edge, then go normal depth in the correct direction, you can avoid this. (I still don't know if I want this router or not. There were 6 opened and reclosed boxes (returns?) at the Home Depot. Why?)

Answer:	Yes, but it is a much better used as router than a door or frame hinge.

That's where the Dremel 335 comes in. This plunge-router adapter is meant to be used with the Dremel rotary tools (models 400, 398, 395, 300, 285, and 275), which accommodate 1/8-inch diameter bits. If you already own one of these tools, buying the attachment is a great way to get an instant router without having to shell out the extra forty or fifty bucks for a single-purpose machine (that may be too big for what you're doing anyway).

Assembling the attachment is simple: just remove the housing cap from your Dremel, reassemble the collet nut, then place the tool into the router attachment. The tool is secured in the attachment with a mounting nut and wrench (both included).

The attachment features two plunge depths, which are locked in via a rotary hand grip. Setting routing depth can be a little tricky: it's a good idea to practice on scrap until you get a feel for it. Question:	can this be used tomake hinge slots in a door. If so what bit would I need
Answer:	I've used the plunge router to make recesses for door handles on sliding doors and this would work very well for mortising out door hinges. It's all about the depth that you set the plunger at. I did one practice mortise before trying it on my expensive doors and it was really like cutting through butter. Any of the router bits should work. I'm currently using the Dremel 650 1/8 Staight Routing Bit, because that was recommended to me. I'm so pleased with this plunge router attachment. Now I need to find some other projects to work on.
Question:	Will it work with other brand rotary tools (specifically Black and Decker
Answer:	It will if you cut off the lower section of the plunge attachment that holds the big attachment nut. Then you place the Black & Decker RTX in place and turn the Dremel nut nut upside down. This allows the nut threads to connect to the RTX. The Dremel and the Black & Decker attachment nuts are the same thread. They are just shaped different on the outside. Now you will have to remove the RTX from the plunge attachment to install tools in chuck but that is no big deal.
Question:	will this work with the dremel
Answer:	I use a 4000 works perfect. I do NOT see any reason it should NOT work with the 3000. NOT tried it BUT used to have a 3000.

Question:	Hi, i want to buy this dewalt dwp611, but i need to know if it suits me for a cnc router, can you work varis hours? and can i use 3mm cutters
Answer:	I picked up a 1/8" & 1/4" precision collet from thinker tinker, but I have never seen a true 3mm collet. I believe the 1/8" is just a little too big.

Answer:	As others have stated, any router can be set-up on a table. I believe Rockler woodworking sells a plate for a small table. The real question is what type of work you plan to do with the router... The DeWalt DW P611 is a great little router. I use one on a CNC router... doing very fine detail work. It does, however, have limitations. Serious woodworkers usually prefer a router with a 1/2" collet. The 1/2" bits are more robust and come in a wide selection of profiles... and with an adapter, 1/4" bits can be used... adding versatility. As for power, if for example, you will be making door panels, the Dewalt would not be a good choice. I have 3 1/2" routers in the 2 1/2 to 3 hp range. Another nice feature to consider is a "plunge" Again, it all depends what you plan to use it for...

Answer:	At 17500 RPMs (1.5 on the settings dial) mine measures 78.9 db A weighted at 3 feet.

Answer:	I just now finished (30 minutes ago) fitting mine to a Skil RAS900 router table. Works like a charm. With multiple passes with shallow cuts, you could probably route most anything. To make it fit, I simply cut four small (2") aluminum brackets (drilled holes for the small bolts & screws, etc) to attach the router to the table's mounting plate. The Skil RAS800 is the same, so it'll fit that table as well. In fact, if you can fabricate your own brackets or drill holes in mounting plates (for tables with that type of mounting), it will probably fit any table.

Answer:	This trim router works great with the 2 Ah battery. I wouldn't go with anything more unless you like a lot of top heavy weight. The 2 Ah battery makes it a pleasure to use and will easily last as long as it takes to charge your spare. The reason you are buying this is for light weight and convenience. Don't make it heavy and bulky with a big battery. I use the BL1820B battery with this router for edge trimming and other light duty tasks. If you need run it all day long making large cuts, buy a bigger router.

Question:	Why two wrenches? Also why is there extra collet nut things? Thanks
Answer:	You can either use the button and one wrench or two wrenches. With two wrenches you can get a tighter nut. This can help with certain bits to avoid chatter. If you don't have great hand strength, two wrenches are definitely better. The extra collet is for a different size router bit shank (3/8") which is rare, but my dovetail jig router bit is 3/8" This means I could use this router with that jig. Otherwise I'd have to use a 1/2" shank router with an adapter.
Question:	Can the wired accessories to the cordless be interchangeable
Answer:	I have the corded router, the cordless router and the plunge base that came bundled with the corded model. The plunge base does in fact mount on the cordless router identically. That's all I can confirm for certain, but the two models appear to be machined the same (though the battery compartment does hang out farther from center, interphering with the full extension of the plunge base depth guide bolt, but only at the extreme of the bolt's capacity - if that is explained well)

Question:	Is there an important difference between this table, and the Bosch RA
Answer:	The main difference is the cabinet which helps cut the dust down. The table top of this unit is laminated MDF which is not as durable as the metal top of the RA1181, however the plastic legs on the RA1181 are certainly not going to be as durable as the cabinet on this unit. I should also point out that while the table is made of MDF, the router plate is made of metal. Since that is where all the action is taking place, I fully expect this unit to last many many years. This unit has 2 dust ports, one behind the router bit and another in the cabinet itself. This really helps keep the dust down. the RA1181 will likely make a much bigger mess as all the stuff flies out of the bottom. The cabinet also serves as a handy place to store all the little goodies like feather boards, knobs, and whatnot. I have this unit and considered the RA1181 for a little while. I am 100% happy with the cabinet design and would certainly get it again. The only problem I have is that neither table comes with a miter guage. I added the POWERTEC 71005 guage to my table and it's awesome! It has a sturdy all-metal design and is a perfect fit for the miter slot in the table. Whichever table you get, I strongly suggest adding a miter guage
