Answer:	I've been told by the local Oreck store that the Capture brand is what they are selling now to be used with their Orbiter carpet cleaner. They seem very similar, but I've been told the Capture is a better product. I haven't used the Capture brand yet, as I still have a supply of the Oreck, but it's been on the market for so many years it's worth a try.

Answer:	gets it out to where you or I can't smell it but not sure if the cats still can......there was a pre-spray I used and it was helpful

Answer:	The 9 Lb. container is close to $50.00, so if that is what you are looking then that is the answer. The 2.5 Lb. container is far less $’s. You should be given a choice when you order. I feel that this is a good product, so I order the biggest one and transfer it to a smaller container for convenient and quick use. I believe it works quite well, but you have to brush it in after spraying the spot with the liquid recommended.

Answer:	I do not believe it would. I believe it is designed specifically for the oreck rug shampoo machine as the product has to be put in a special way to work.

Question:	Which Oreck is best for residential use
Answer:	The only major difference between this and some of the lower end residential XL models of years past is the "Commercial" marking, the cord color, and the lack of a bag dock which can be retrofitted. It is also highly likely this can be upgraded to a two speed model by simply installing an Oreck 2 speed switch.
Question:	My daughters and i all have long hair that we have to cut out of the vacuum brush. How is this vacuum with hair
Answer:	Any vacuum with a rotating brush is going to get tangled with long hairs but this is actually a good thing. All upright vacuums have the fan that pulls the dirt in, in front of the bag so all the hair and stuff has to go past the spinning fan first. You can hear this whenever something hard is picked up and can be heard hitting the fan blades, not good. Any long hairs or string that gets past the rotating brush, is going to get tangled on the fan which you cannot get to, to cut them out. This will cause the fan to run hot and shorten the life of the machine.
Question:	I am about to buy the XL2100RHS but do not want to use the thin, cheap commercial bags. Is there a HEPA bag that fits this product

Question:	Anyone compared this machine to a Dyson? I just bought a Dyson C33 which I really like, but I am wondering if I am missing out
Answer:	Just jumping in here. We've had a few dysons (some second hand, others new) and I've always found them to be incredibly underwhelming. "But they last forever!" Maybe, but they don't do a better job than I've seen $150 cleaners do that still last for many years. The dysons were also unusable for stair cleaning and on the model I had, the brush would turn off when it was in full upright mode! Terrible design. I'm also pretty convinced they're not sealed that well for allergens. Their bagless design is also terrible. We're going to give this Oreck a try and see how it goes...

Answer:	Yes, I used the Oreck Commercial 237047 Crimped Polypropylene Scrub Orbiter Brush, 12" Diameter, 0.028" Bristle Diameter, Orange and found my grout to look brighter (it is a medium grey) and I did use Mr Clean as the cleaning agent .

Answer:	Only came with the driving pad which you place the other pads you have to order onto it for the final use. I have not used mine yet to refinish my kitchen hardwood floor. I ordered a red pad, white pad, wool pad and carpet pad. That ran up the bill another $50 with the shipping!

Answer:	It is very easy because the vacuum is so light in weight. I bought this Oreck because I have a very serious back problem, & this vacuum is the answer. I give it a 5 star rating.

Answer:	This does a decent job with pet hair. I would not say it is phenomenal. We had 2 dogs a golden retriever who recently passed and a plush coat German Shepherd. LOTS of dog hair. I do like that I can use it both on carpet and bare floors.

Answer:	In response to Amy S on October 17, 2016....The handle is made from magnesium which is a metal hence the name Oreck "Magnesium" RS. The warranty is for 7 years so if your handle broke somehow it would be covered under the warranty. As far as high pile goes, I have high shag in my home and this is the only vacuum that works on it. I've tried all the others Dyson, Shark, Hoover, Dirt Devil, Bissell and Eureka and none has worked as good as the Oreck Magnesium RS on the carpet! By the way, on low speed it works AWESOME as well!

There are shampoos specifically for pet stains and then other shampoos for other types of stains but I'm sure they each work for any use.
Question:	Need to replace the plastic container on the spot bot that holds the detergent. Where can I get that part

Question:	How long does cleaning cycle last
Answer:	There is a quick cycle for 3 minutes, and a deep clean for 6 minutes. This is a spot cleaner and works very well for spills, pet accidents, and small clean up jobs.
Question:	How long is the hose
Answer:	The hose is just long enough to wrap around the unit 1 1/2 times.... maybe 5 or 6 ft. The idea is to use it mainly in areas that are too tight for the spotbot. I highly recommend this unit.... I have previous versions that I have stopped using and now this machine is first choice. One note of caution: The hose will get brittle after years of detergent and dirt. Use the Main part of the spotbot as primary. This will lengthen the life of this unit.
