Answer:	This is a silicone based lube. It clearly states it on the bottle. Also it does not have any hint of foaming when sprayed which is also a good indication that it is a non-lithium based spray. But it is possible that the previous formula was lithium based.

Answer:	that looks like it if they changed the name I don't know I did that a while back and the tubes are at my moms so i can't check.but as long as it is the spec'd for genie screw drive according to amazon it should be it and it works very well, moms door is still running good and real quiet.it is black in color , just open it and start at one end squeezing a bead as even as you can all the way down to the other end.then open the door and close it 2 or 3 times to distribute it,you will hear the noise disappear as you go.do it 1 time a year and you are good to go - good luck

Answer:	There should be plenty ... I have 46cm Nitto bar and ran it over brake cables, but had had to trim the tape. Also the tape has so far worn beautifully, I have put 500-600 miles on so far and it has not discolored ... it has stayed soft and firm like when bought. worth the money and better than leather as it can get wet.

Question:	If this product contains petroleum distillates, how can it be for use on rubber
Answer:	Mission Automotive Silicone Paste. I bought an 8oz jar of it in 2018 and have barely made a dent in it, hehe. The stuff is great! I started using silicone when I bought an underwater metal detector years ago. The manual was very specific that you shouldn't use Vaseline on the rubber seals! I had a small container of the stuff that was about the size of three silver dollars stacked up... I had gone thru about half of it and decided to get some more. After looking at prices, I figured it was worth the big cost savings just to buy a big thing of it instead of a small tube! As infrequent as i use it, it will still be sitting on my shelf, in great condition, for the next 10-20 years! :)

Answer:	it does not dry like an alcohol product. you should have no problem spraying it on a cloth and using almost right away (go answer the phone, use the restroom). if you leave the cloth until tomorrow - not so much.

Answer:	This crc product goes on wet and dries to a non sticky film that does not attract or hold on to dirt or dust. I have switched a number of my lube application to this product.
Question:	Can this product be used to lubricate a sea cock (used in salt water environment
Answer:	Yes, you can lube your seacock with this. The only thing I don't use it on is roller bearings. This stuff is so slick that it causes roller bearings to slide instead of roll and that creates flat spots. Then the roller bearings will never roll again. Still good on ball bearings though.

Answer:	yes I have used it for garage doors and it worked well

Answer:	Not sure if it can be used with plastics.....it was developed for metals I believe. All rubiks cubes that I have seen have been plastic ones. I do not see on the can or description where it says to not use on plastics, however.
