Answer:	Nope. It's made for a trim router. The plate will be too small for a standard router base.

Answer:	Yes. This is the trim router that I use. The pre-cut hole patterns on the clear circular plexi do not align to the Makita router. I used my router as a template and carefully drilled and countersunk the necessary plexi mount holes. It does work, it just needs to be fitted to the Makita. Very happy with my setup.

Answer:	Not that I saw. Be careful mine came without a fence which I've had to make a couple of calls to get and not received it yet waiting 3 weeks. Listed routers are Bosch 1 and 1.5 hp, Makita, Porter Cable and Dewalt best bet call customer service, good luck.
Question:	Is it Compatible to Makita trim router rt
Answer:	Their technical documents show an RT0701C being used in the table, which I believe is identical to the rt0700, but I’m not positive the mount holes are spaced the same. Don’t know why they would not be, so I’d feel comfortable saying it is compatible.
Question:	Is tear out a problem with this jig
Answer:	It’s not really a jig as much as it is a fully functional, albeit, small router table. However, just like with any router, if you put a sacrificial piece behind the project piece tear out is virtually eliminated.

Answer:	Amazon Cen tec systems offers various hose kits. This is a commercial vacuum system company but they offer hose with various adaptors. I have everything covered after buying the $50 16’ hose and adaptor kit. Essential kit however I’m not 100% sure it will solve your extraction fitment. Question:	Newbie question... i see the thicker 7/8 diameter ones too by whiteside udc9112. the thicker the more power? the thinner, the more detail you can get
Answer:	ThE diameter of that bit is designed around the available standard bearing. In general however the longer the bit the bigger the diameter so they don't break as easily. If you are trying to get in a tight place you would want a smaller diameter - the radius in the corners is 1/2 of the diameter of the bit. These bits are made of solid carbide which is fragile and can chip of break easily. Your goal is to get the appropriate size chip so as to remove the heat that dulls the bit - you manipulate the chipload through feed rate and RPM. Answer:	Yes, it will cut material up to 1 1/2” thick.

Answer:	Expect the same performance as you have gotten from your other Whiteside spiral bits...but this one as you noted only has a bearing on the top. Great bit.
Question:	What is the difference between this bit and the RFT5200 spiral bit by whiteside other than a longer cutting length
Answer:	This is a compression bit - it has a up shear and a downshear to give you a clean cut on both sides of the material. The RFT5200 is an upshear - it will give you a clean cut on the bottom of the material but may tear out on the top. Answer:	Use a piece that's long enough to hold on to so that your finger(s) doesn't/don't get in the way of the sawblade.

Answer:	The gap is 5/8 of an inch.
Question:	Will this work if the corner isn't exactly 90 degrees? If it's not 90 degrees wouldn't the length of the wall pieces change
Answer:	The short answers are yes, and yes -- but only slightly. The real life answer is that unless you (or an uber-professional construction team) built the walls, you're going to be lucky to find more than a few that are true 90 degree corners which leaves you with 3 basic options: 1) you can use this tool to get close and then invest a extra time to measure the angle and work out the cuts to be as perfect as possible (the perfectionist); 2) just use the marks & measurements that you get with this tool and use caulking to fill the gaps (the lazy man); or 3) blend options one and two to give you a professional looking finished product that family and friends will admire you for (the well balanced one). Method 3 will also keep you from making yourself crazy trying to work out different angles for every corner that your saw won't have stops for anyway, or just saying "meh... that's close enough. Caulking will cover that right up" over and over again as you move through the house. Bottom line for me is that I won't do another baseboard job without this jig. If I ever break it, or lose it, I'm buying another one. Hope that helps. Now go install some trim and get ready for how impressed people will be with your skills!!
Question:	what is a bull nose corner
Answer:	Many times they are used on a countertop or office desks on the edge facing outward. You also might find them on sides of furniture from the late 80's to late 90's. Current furniture generally has very squared off corners so you most likely will see them on desktops or countertops. Helpful if you have uncoordinated children who are always falling into things. A sharp corner on a counter or desk may break skin or bone of a child (I have experience with this as I was such a child...) The rounded corner distributes the impact and a bruise was the worst I got after my father replaced the kitchen countertops. (He may have rounded them off, I was too young to remember beyond the 3 knocked out teeth and 14 stiches when I was 12)

Question:	Will this allow you to use dremmel tool bits in a grinder
Answer:	Assuming you mean an air grinder, it should work just fine.
Question:	I'm wondering if this reducer will work on a Makita 1/4" die grinder? Id like to use 1/8" burrs in it
Answer:	It is a reducing sleeve but it has a slit like a roll pin. I find that an 1/8 burr must be forced in the reducer so be careful not to break it. I put the bit into my drill press and press it in.
Question:	will RB-102 reduction bushing fit Bodh colt collets
Answer:	It fits into the collet, however, the single slit DOES NOT permit clamp-down tight enough to firmly hold an 1/8" shank bit.(1/8" bit shanks generally measure .002-.003" under .125"). Don't "OVER-TIGHTEN" the router collet nut on the router, or permanent damage will occur on the fine threads. Damage to the threads will not be covered by the router OEM warranty.

Answer:	If you have a 1/4 inch collet for your for your Bosch 1617 then it will work, I have the same router and it works with my 1/4 inch collet.

Question:	Is it compatible with Ryobi routers
Answer:	you have to drill your own holes for the baseplate. This is designed for a trim router. I use it with a bosch colt with a plunge base. I had to drill the baseplate to fit that as well. So as long as you are comfortable drilling the mounting holes in the baseplate you are OK. It is really durable and easy to set up once it is drilled.
Question:	Does this work with Makita routers
Answer:	It does not work with my Dewalt router. It is not even close to fit. Not universal
Question:	How do I measure a 12 inch circle when the measuring rod is blocking my 6 inch mark
Answer:	Measure it with a ruler and test it on a piece of scrap. I do 10 to 12 inch diameter circles all the time

Answer:	drill the hole in the center for the pivot and measure 3 inches from the center of the pin to the outer edge of your bit.
