| Answer: | I have owned a 50ft for about 6 years. Never had any problems with it. On a hose reel I would roll it up pressurized. It will be easier to handle because it dosen't want to twist, it will remain straight easier. Also rolling it up unpressurized it will flatten out on the reel. So next time you turn it on it can't expand properly and could restrict flow. They make some good air hoses to. |

They feel deceptively light weight. The great thing about these hoses is they almost absolutely never kink when they are under full water pressure. Well, they do, but because of the rubbery construction the water pressure pops the kink out by itself in about 1/4 second or so. You wouldn't even know the hose kinked if you blinked. I have a business soft washing dirty roofs, houses and building exteriors and my employees and I absolutely love this hose. |

If headlight is that rough you will need to wet sand, compound (105) with wool cutting pad with rotorey polisher then 205 using fome finishing pad with rototey polisher. Then a good past wax by hand once a month and you will never have sand or compound again. If not familiar with these steps Meguiras has a pretty good headlight restore kit that you apply by hand. |

| Answer: | Typically, for a 3/8 inch air hose, there will be a 1/4" MNPT (male national pipe thread) nipple factory attached to each end of the hose. To add quick disconnects to the hose you will need a Quick Disconnect COUPLER (adapter), size 1/4 inch, with 1/4" FNPT (1/4" female national pipe thread) for the tool end of the hose. For the compressor end of the hose, if your compressor is equipped with a Quick Disconnect Coupler, you will only need a 1/4" size Quick Disconnect NIPPLE with 1/4" FNPT (1/4" female national pipe thread) for attaching to your air hose. If your compressor is not equipped with a Quick Disconnect you can simply attach the compressor end of the hose directly to the discharge port of your air compressor regulator. Depending on the size of the regulator discharge port, adapter bushings may be required to fit the 1/4" MNPT threading of the typical 3/8" air hose. In any case when you buy Quick Disconnect Couplers and Nipples always buy the same type and size. Quick Disconnect fittings are available in many different types and sizes. The INDUSTRIAL EXCHANGE type, and the UNIVERSAL EXCHANGE type are by far the most common types of Quick Disconnects. They are interchangeable with each other as well as with most other common types of Quick Disconnect fittings. At the end of this hose I use brass connectors so I can easily attache and switch out a sprinkler, another hose, soaker hose, etc. I use Gilmore Quick Connect 2Pc, which I purchased on Amazon. You'll need the 2Pc, one for each side. You should be able to use the connectors to make it an extension. |
