Question:	Why would you lose more air when the air chuck is covering the valve stem as much as possible and it’s in the locked position
Answer:	The valve stem may be too short for the chuck to fully engage. I've had that happen before and switched a different device. You may already be doing this but, be sure the chuck is fully unlocked, then press down hard and lock while maintaining pressure to get more of the stem in the chuck. If it's already at the bottom of the stem, you'll need to have a mechanic install longer stems. Yeah, I know, pain in the neck. But, the compressor is great. Our daughter loves it.

Just feel the edges before you put it in your tank, like ALL decorations made of this material it could have sharp edges you can easily file down (I did with a metal nail file). I have Harlequin Rasboras and Otocinclus, none of them use this shelter- only my Myster snail has. So it's just a pretty thing in my tank.
