10 best torque wrench with flexes

A torque wrench with flex is a specific type of torque wrench commonly used in various mechanical and automotive applications. It's a versatile hand tool designed to tighten nuts, bolts, and other fasteners to a specific torque value, ensuring accurate and precise tightening.

The "flex" in a torque wrench with flex typically refers to a flexible joint or head that allows for more maneuverability and access to tight or hard-to-reach spaces. This flexibility helps in applying torque accurately in various angles and positions.

The torque wrench with flex typically consists of a long handle with a calibrated scale to measure torque. It has a ratcheting mechanism that allows controlled tightening and prevents over-torquing. The flex feature enhances usability by enabling the wrench head to pivot, giving it a broader range of motion.

Using a torque wrench with flex involves setting the desired torque value on the calibrated scale using an adjustment mechanism on the handle. As you tighten the fastener, the wrench will produce a click or other audible or visual signal when the specified torque is reached, indicating that you've tightened the fastener accurately.

It's essential to follow the manufacturer's guidelines for the specific torque wrench you're using, including how to adjust the torque setting and how to handle and maintain the tool for optimal performance and accuracy. Torque wrenches with flex are valuable tools in automotive repair, construction, and other industries where precise torque application is crucial for safety and efficiency.

User questions & answers

Question: How well is this packaged? I’m worried the shipping will mess with the calibration
Answer: If your keyboard's input for the pedal is 1/8" and your pedal's jack is 1/4" then this adapter should be all you would need. You could also consult the keyboard's manufacturer to determine the appropriate pedal to use. Thank you for your interest! Y2PLAY Stores - 800-695-4808.
Question: where is this torque wrench made
Answer: I accidentally ordered this item, as in meant to order something else similar too it. But when I got the product, there was nothing that was loose that would make me think it wasn't perfectly good for what it should be used for.
Question: Is this click type
Answer: I doubt it, most cellphones and tablets have 4 pole connectors and you need something with a dedicated mic input to use a standalone mic with. This is only a three pole adapter and the poles would not match up to the fourth pole mic input on the phone.
Question: Does it read inch pounds
Answer: It will allow you to plug your guitar into a line in port on your computer. However, to record, you'll need a few other things. You will need software that can receive sounds from your line in port. Also, a guitar's sound needs to go through an amp to sound good, so you will need something to process the sound from the guitar. There may be software tools to do this, but in the past I have used the Line 6 Guitar Port: http://www.amazon.com/Line-6-GuitarPort-XT/dp/B0000AJQ42. Good luck!

User questions & answers

Question: Does the male end of the precision instruments prec3fr250f swivel
Answer: the head only tilts about 10 deg. You could probably use an adapter if you need rotation.
Question: Does it come with a case
Answer: Yes, it had a black plastic case when I received it. If you need, I can email you the photos.
Question: to 150 ft lbs i don't see anything in this range
Answer: The display has a range from 20-250 lbs. I do not know how to send you a photo. You can see this link https://detail.1688.com/pic/529475661715.html?spm=a261y.7663282.1998411378.1.78d5306eyDjbY3
Question: is this a fixed head or ratchet head if so can the ratchet be reversed
Answer: This is a ratchet head and it is not reversible - only tightens clockwise. Most of the torque wrenches are not designed to be used to loosen fasteners....even the fixed head wrenches.

User questions & answers

Question: What is the warranty on this
Answer: It's a headphone adapter, so it's complicated. Technically it's unbalanced if you use it as a headphone adapter, because headphones are unbalanced. It has 1 conductor for left, 1 for right, and 1 for a shared ground. If you were to use it for a mono balanced signal though, it's three conductor, so it could be used as a balanced cable for a mono balanced audio source.

User questions & answers

Question: What is the accuracy in reverse
Answer: I havent used mine in reverse but I think the specs on the tool should show a + or - 4% depending which way you go, pretty much std with all torque wrenches. Hope that helps
Question: Does this come with a storage case? Thanks
Answer: yes it does, a plastic black case and its an nice little inch pound wrench!!
Question: My new wrench seems to have a rather large amount of "play" and movement between the stub that holds the socket and its casing. Is this normal
Answer: Not normal. Are you using GearWrench Sockets? The detent that holds the socket to the drive should be secure with little play. Inspect the socket detent.
Question: There have been a couple comments to a question, but no reviews. Anyone have a comment after using the wrench
Answer: It has worked without any problem for me and seems a reasonable value for the price. I would have preferred to get the CDI version (but I was buying three torque wrenches at once in 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2). I ended up getting the gearwrench 1/4 and 1/2 (including this item) and the CDI at 3/8 -- because there was a deal on the CDI 3/8. I've used them all a couple times and the Gearwrenchs have worked as has the CDI -- they all click when you get to (what you hope is) the torque you indicated. Other than the fact that the CDI wins for being made in the USA, I cannot distinguish between the quality. They all seem to work as intended. Mine have not been subject to more than occasional use.If the price is right and you don't mind foreign made, go ahead and get this one.

User questions & answers

Question: How far is the head supposed to flex? Mine arrived today and it only flexes a couple degreees each way
Answer: Why does it matter? These are for carrying an unbalanced audio signal for 2 meters. Thats a low voltage signal. AWG makes little difference at that distance. Hosa is a great brand and these cables work well.
Question: Does this torque wrench come with a calibration certificate? Also does it fit in it's box set at it's lowest setting for storage
Answer: Its the gauge or in simple words the thickness of the wire. Higher the number the thinner the lower the number the thicker the wire.
Question: How is this different than the Precision Instruments M2FR100FX torque wrench? Both are
Answer: I have used mine with my Onkyo receiver, so I do not see why it would not work. The male end is quarter inch stereo, and the female end is 1/8 inch stereo. If your headphones have a quarter inch jack, then you'll either need an adapter or just buy a cable with quarter inch plugs on both ends.
Question: Is the range of this torque wrench truly 15-100 lb'? I have their 10-100 lb' but really need a 15. There is a gap between my 20lb' and 200lb" wrenches
Answer: It's what I call a mini jack. I'm not sure of the mm. It's the standard jack for most computer headphones. 1/8 inches translates to 3.175 mm.
Question: Does this have a dual scale? Showing both ft lbs and Nm
Answer: It refers to the diameter. 1/4" is often used in instruments and pro audio applications while 1/8" is the typical headphone jack size.

User questions & answers

Question: What’s the size length of this 7/8 wrench
Answer: this is a special audio cable. I use it to connect 1 channel of audio mixer to an effect box, also call INSERT, hence insert cable. Computers normally don't use 1/4" connector. With an adapter 1/4" to 1/8", you can use this cable to connect computer audio from stereo jack to left and right audio of an amplifier, provided the amplifier has 1/4" input connectors. professional amplifiers user XLR connectors but some have 1/4". Home stereo amplifiers uses RCA type connectors.

User questions & answers

Question: Will this show the max torque used? I want to measure the torque required to break a bolt loose
Answer: If you can get a grip on the screw then you would use locking pliers for that type of work. If you can't get a hold of the edge of the screw then you would need an screw removal tool that normally goes on a powerdrill. Links attached. http://www.amazon.com/Crescent-5-Piece-Locking-Plier-Set/dp/B000TDDPBE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426103741&sr=8-1&keywords=locking+pliershttp://www.amazon.com/SpeedOut-Damaged-Screw-Extractor-Bolt/dp/B00IRL3WP4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426103798&sr=8-1&keywords=screw+removal+tool
Question: Does the display indicate the torque applied upon reaching a specfic angle? This way it's possible to look for fasteners that may 'have an issue
Answer: Yes they are. The yellow and black grips are thick rubber and will insulate you from at least 240vac and probably a lot more.
Question: Does the the display hold the torque reading so it can be viewed when the wrench is removed from the lug nut or does it go back to zero at that point
Answer: It has a 1/2 or 7/16 inch nut to lock in place
Question: Does it have a headphone jack
Answer: Aluminum tools? No way
