| Answer: | I don't know but I've used these sockets for over a year and they do fine. Personally I prefer 1/2" drive sockets for the big stuff that would require an impact but these are very solid 6 point sockets that do the job just fine. |

| Answer: | The universal joint isn't really any longer than a normal u joint for 3/8ths drive. It has maybe 25 degrees of motion off center, but will not bend far enough to bind like a standard u joint when you ask for to much angle. |

Polydrive and Ribe are not the same! —Splines in the Ribe are thicker and taper toward the outside. If you were to attempt a 10mm Ribe on for example VW/Audi the splines will not fit and you’ll end up damaging the head bolts or cam bolt. |

| Answer: | OK, I've done some research ,as far as I can tell 2001-2013 Jettas call for special tool T10162A, which is nothing more than an 18mm triple square bit. I would buy this kit , which I have , and use a half inch ratchet or breaker bar , not for impact tools. Torque is 180nm + 180 degrees. |
