User questions & answers
Question: | Does this tool come with screws for knife pocket clip |
Answer: | Yes, if your pocket clip has Torx head screws. It's an excellent item. Good luck. |
Question: | What is significant difference between this and the wiha stubby |
Answer: | The included bits. The Boker version has T4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10. The Stubby has T8, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30. In other words, the Boker is for precision. The Stubby is for general use. |
Question: | What is the material of the bits? Chrome vanadium steel? S2 steel? Other |
Answer: | There is no manufacturer specs from Boker, but the bits themselves are Wiha and, as such, are probably some of the highest quality interchangeable Torx bits on the market. Whatever steel alloy Wiha uses in these bits is hard enough for tool use, isn't excessively prone to rust/corrosion and is unlikely to strip or damage unlike so many Torx bits on the market (one of the reasons why I absolutely loathe Torx as a fastener type). Probably the best Torx driver/bit set for the money. I recommend it. |
Question: | How many bits does it come with and what is the smallest size |
Answer: | T4, T5, T6, T7, T8, T10 and T15. The T15 seems like an odd size for pocket knives, I think they just threw it in there as a freebie/afterthought to fill the open slot in front which really wasn't necessary. The first thing I did when I got this tool was toss the T15 bit, it's useless and just gets in the way and is better without it. |
