Answer:	I would assume you could but only a few are fine enough grit. You would want all very fine grit for that and only a few of the 12 are fine.

Answer:	I would recommend a sponge. This is more for taking the gunk off of metal or stainless steel. You may scratch the dish lol these are good!

Question:	How is this block different from the cheaper (black rubber) 3M block
Answer:	I have to admit I never measured, but I use this hose to create smaller soaker hoses around new trees that I plant. I cut it into three foot sections, and use 5/8" couplers to join those pieces to "Y" connectors. Since I am using 5/8" standard connections, I have to assume that the hose is 5/8" (or at least the hose industry equivalent).
