Question:	It says 1500 W but amp is 10.9 amp at 120 V. should teh amp be 12.5 or wattage be 1200? What is the correct spec
Answer:	I believe it is 12.5 amps. I know the motor is very powerful as I had no problems going through hard clay. I dug holes the full length of the auger or about 30 inches and did not have a problem Just remember to let the auger work by applying light downward pressure. Too much force and you will bind up the auger blade.
Question:	should I get the 1500W or 1200w model, I don't understand the difference, the 1200w seems to have handle that you can brace on leg
Answer:	The more power the better. Mine is 1200 and it doing just fine, however, it would be better to have some reserved power.

Answer:	I don't know how safe it would be to use it horizontally, but if your strong enough to hold it that way I believe the motor would run just fine.

Answer:	The auger bit is 36" (3 feet) and you can dig the full length of the bit, but you may find that the depth is slightly shallower than the 3 ft until you fully remove the dirt. If you are digging to that full depth, it is important to routinely pull the auger up to clear the dirt from the hole as you dig. If you find that you need more depth- you might want to consider adding an extension to the shaft. The Earthquake 12" and 18" extensions are available on Amazon and will fit this product.

Question:	is 10” auger course enough for rocky soil? Most are golf ball sized but up to baseball size rocks exist. Need depth about 15”. What about 1/2” roots
Answer:	yes. the sliding doors in on the inside and has a latch to hold it down. You must press the latch and pull up to lease door

Answer:	The total height is right at 13.5" and that is because it angles up and down slightly from the opening. We have had ours for about two months now and we love it for our two cats, it is a life saver!

Answer:	It can slide down on either the inside or the outside! I've thought of getting an additional slide piece to more effectively block door off.

Answer:	The door panel fits on both the inside and the outside. If you put it on the inside of the house, then it can NOT be removed because it clicks into place and to remove it you have to take your thumb and fore-finger and squeeze the latch release in order to release the latch lock and to raise the door. Ideally for super weather protection I am going to buy another door for the outside so for SEVERE WEATHER AND SUPER HIGH TORNADO WINDS - I can have a door on both sides - the outside and the inside - even if the outside can be removed. (I live in Tornado Alley) P.S. Even in 30 mph winds so far - neither of the door flaps have come open and or leaked. I LOVE THIS DOGGIE DOOR AND I HAVE THE SUPER HUGE ONE FOR MY 180 LB ENGLISH MASTIFF - SO YOU CAN IMAGINE HOW BIG THE DOOR OPENING IS!! But the person on the other side has to realized before trying to stick his head thru that door - if the door is that big - "Do I really want to stick my head thru there?!!"

Be careful as when the auger hits a big rock and you are not paying attention the handle will slip from your hands and will hit you in the knee. It hurts a lot

Answer:	Yes. It will work just fine. Just cut your 4x4 down to about a 2.95x2.95 and drive it in. Glue back what was cut off once the post is in place. If you don’t need the excess, just glue the cut off sections together to form another post. It’s cost effective.
