Answer: This is sad. I am 63 years old and remember when "Schrade" and "Uncle Henry" were brand names of knives you were PROUD to own and showed off to all your friends. Fortunately I do still have one old 'Uncle Henry" old enough to be of good quality. I recall sharpening a knife (Uncle Henry) for our Sgt and when he cut himself with it the doctor (took 12 stitches inside & out to sew him up) said it looked like he had been cut with a scalpel. I bet you couldn't get one of these new knives that sharp.

Stop blaming the tool and fix your ignorance. Nobody is born knowing how to use a carving knife, or any other type of knife, any more than they're born knowing how to use a hammer, saw, drill, gun, stove, oven, or jackhammer, and you shouldn't expect to expertly use a tool until you've spent some time learning how to.

Answer: I don't know what you are referring to as the vhf/uhf port. The antenna input on most modern TV's is a coax cable input. Plug the antenna with or without the amplifier into this port and run the scan. If you use the amplifier it needs to be plugged into an active USB port on the tv or plugged into the supplied transformer for power. Using the amplifier is an option but may not be needed. The instructions are pretty clear. Are you sure you are running the scan on broadcast channels?
