Answer:	They are metal. Not sure of the exact alloy content, but I've had my pair for about 8 or 9 years and use them regularly, and have yet to break them. The teeth aren't as sharp/ grip as well as they used to, but they are pretty old and still have plenty of bite. They are far from being considered worn out.

Answer:	Just an update from previous answer. I had my wife bring me a 24 Volt Portable Drill, when opened the Chuck to put the 17/64 bit in, it fit right in the Chuck. This is the same Chuck size as the Chuck on a Drill Press that has a 1/2" Chuck. (the 1/2" Chuck on the Drill Press is a Standard size). So this bit should fit with Minimal tightening adjustment. Hope this helps your problem.

Answer:	I have no answer for you as this must be answered only by the seller. There are tool pouches for sale elsewhere or I simply had my wife make a speciality tool pouch for me.

Answer:	No, the grips are not specially made to provide electrical insulation. They will provide some level of insulation, but so will paint or masking tape - does not mean it's a good idea, safe, or should be relied upon regularly. If you want to see what properly constructed electrically insulating pliers look like, take a look at Knipex (world's greatest pliers, BTW) and you'll see their regular linesman pliers, cutters, etc., and then ALSO their 1000V rated electrical versions of the same pliers. The purpose-built insulation difference is clear, and they cost a little more, along with more bulk, as expected. I expect that if you are an electrician, you'd invest in the $$$ insulated version, and if you never or rarely worked on electrical things, you'd buy the regular version and take multiple extra precautions, etc. when needing to work on wiring.

Answer:	I've never used it for jewelry but it cuts wire very crisply and the nose has a flat crimper that would close small metal parts easily.

Answer:	As a bike mechanic, I would highly recommend getting a tool specficially for cable cutting. It's a curved blade that won't fray the stands. I expect steel cables will dull this blade quickly.
Question:	How can you tell which crimp area to use? The color codes on the tool show 2 "ranges" of wire gauge, but it looks like there are 3 crimp areas
Answer:	On the left there is a label ("INSUL AND NON-INSUL") that points the center of the two places to crimp, with the one closest to the pivot color coded for blue and yellow connectors (or 16 - 10 gauge), and the next crimp area for red connectors (or 22 - 18 gauge). The bump on the right side between the two is not meant for crimping.
