This would be ideal because you wouldn’t have to do anything until the risers come. Or unscrew the body, pull it out and look at the bottom. I’d suggest a digging a small hole around the body down to the connection point so you will know what yours are like the first time. Then you will probably want to reattach it until your risers arrive. I have 4” rise hunter pro spray bodies. They are 1/2”. I would guess most pop up sprinklers are 1/2”...but that is a guess based on walking thru the irrigation aisle in the hardware store and looking for my pop up bodies.
