Answer:	Hello, As CHOMP is a Wallpaper Stripper, it would be best to clean-up any Spills/Overlap as soon as possible (Cold water & microfiber towel in a 5 Gal Bucket.) Answer:	We kept our dog outside when using it. But he didn’t seem interested in going in the room with the smell it left behind.

Answer:	It worked ok. But what really helped was using a steamer. I used a clothing steamer, but it was awkward reaching the upper part of the wall. If you have a lot of wallpaper to remove, I would invest in a wallpaper steamer.But pre-soaking the wallpaper backing with chomp did help.I had the same issue as you- the top layer of paper peeled off, but left the papery backing on the wall. Answer:	Yes, but be very patient. After applying the solution, I covered the walls with plastic garbage bags so the solution did not evaporate. After about 30 minutes, wallpaper came off pretty easily. Less than 30 minutes … ugh! Another tip...don't score the wallpaper other than lightly as this causes the paper to tear when peeling from wall.

Question:	I have wallpaper that’s been painted over. Will this product still work on it
Answer:	I didn't have that situation, but did have a double layer of wallpaper. I think it will work for you if you have good scoring through the painted wallpaper to allow the Chomp to penetrate. Just wait a few minutes and it should peel/scrape off without too much difficulty. Hope this helps.
Question:	How do you use this? What do you have to mix it with
Answer:	Mix it with tap water. I used this and it was great. If your wallpaper has been up for a couple decades it may take a few tries. Saturate the wallpaper with the solution and scrape the wallpaper. I used 2 ounces per 30 ounces of water. It makes 32 ounces.
Question:	how do you apply it and do I need to punch holes in the papper? Can I use a 6" wide puddy knife to remove the papper
Answer:	I followed the instructions, mixed with water and put in a spray bottle. I bought from Amazon the wheels the punchs little holes. Roll it on the wall, spray let sit for a few minutes and start peeling the wall paper. I was pleasantly surprise how easy it was to do it. I bought at Home Depot a plastic spatula to scrape the wall paper and it did not damage the wall.

Answer:	Chomp is thinner, however it works faster than Dif, less time to process before removal, cleanup is easier because Chomp is clear. Dif leaves a blue residue to deal with.

Answer:	We used it on oil-based primed walls and the primer was not affected. I can't really say much for paint, but I do not believe it will hurt the paint.

Answer:	I used my laundry water pump bottle but did use their solution. Worked great. We found the drier the paper was, the harder to get it off. Whereas, the damper the gauze paper was, the better it worked.

Answer:	I'm unclear on what you're asking, but from my use of the chemical that goes along with this scraper, it appears to be water based. It removed 70 year old painted on wallpaper reasonably well once the wallpaper was scored. I later used a steamer on an area that seemed to have a lot more glue on it and which resisted the chemical. The steamer worked faster and worked without scoring, but it left a lot of glue residue that bleeds through the primer. I did not have that problem as much with the chemical that goes along with this scraper.
Question:	Can we spray this and then steam to help loosen it up more or is it overkill
Answer:	I don't quite know what you would spray this for. I sprayed the walls with the solution to loosen the glue, steamed the wall, then used this tool to scrape the paper off.

Answer:	I can't remember how long, maybe 10-15 minutes. I do remember having to use a lot of elbow grease to remove the wallpaper. The spray only helps so much.

Answer:	You will have to use the device to perforate through the grass cloth. The key is that the product has to get under the paper to the glue. Tip: to me, this stuff smelled exactly like cat urine! Ended up using heated water and fabric softener...worked just as well, and smelled way better!

Answer:	Possibly. Have you tried Goo Gone? It might work also.
Question:	How many bottles do i need to buy to remove paper on 2 full walls (15' x 8'), and then 2 rooms that have wallpaper on the top half of the wall
Answer:	You need to count your actual sheets of wallpaper. We used the Gel spray and found that one bottle removed between 1-1/2 to 2 full sheets of wallpaper that went from ceiling to floor. Ours had been up for almost 30 years. If you have paper on just the top half, then two strips would count as one full sheet or roughly so. It does take a lot of the gel remover and you might need more to remove adhesive although I found hot soapy water did a good job on the adhesive. Since you are planning on doing several large areas, I would buy enough for perhaps a room that has it on the top half only to see how far it goes. If you have any left over, it can go for the next room. It is a very messy job so be sure to protect your floors no matter what type of flooring you have. The old wallpaper will stick to everything, and it is very hard to remove after it dries. Also, the remover contains a blue dye that will discolor the wall underneath so wipe it off as soon as possible. After everything was as clean as possible, we painted the entire room with a product call Zinsser Gardz. This sealed any left over adhesive and gave a nice finish for the paint.

Answer:	It takes alot of water with it - but I think it should work. I bought this for wallpaper that had been up for about 30 years and it took this and a steamer to get the walls clean.

Answer:	One gallon will be enough. Piranha makes a scraper that will make the job a lot easier so if you don't have one be sure and get it. I just poured into a glass bowl and brushed on with an old paint brush. The first layer will come off real easy. You may be able to remove it without putting any product on. It's well worth a try. Answer:	A cheaper way to take care of that issue would be vinegar.

Answer:	We used Piranha gel in several rooms with great results. The one thing that we did to control odor was to wash the walls after stripping to not only control odor but to also remove the tiny pieces of paper and glue that seem to just hang on. I never really noticed any strong odor and what was there was nothing like cat urine. If that odor had been around I never would have used the product. Wish you luck. While I believe this is the best product on the market today it is still a big job.

Question:	Does this work on brown laminate floors
Answer:	While I don't have direct experience with this brand I have used many other brands of the exact same products. People like that Fred guy calling things glorified pens and crayons shouldn't be listened to. He clearly couldn't be bothered to do any research and learn how to use the products and to get good results you need to put in effort and learn the general idea of how to use them. It's not just rub wax in the scratch and color over with a marker. With that said there is a chance these will work on your floor and look great but I don't know what type of "markers" are in this package. If it has the resin markers they do have a decent shine and depending on the damage you are looking to cover up it could be enough to make the damage not noticeable. Personally I would recommend looking for a stronger filler and "paint" system since you are working on a floor. These marker and wax kits are nothing more than a temporary cover up. In my younger years I worked for a furniture company and we used things like this as well as other things to cover and damage that may have come factory on the furniture or damage caused by us. The idea of stuff like this is to make it look new and last a a couple wipe downs after the customer gets it home so the customer thinks they caused the scratches after a week when they wiped all the soft painted wax away thanks to cleaning. A few good scratches could turn a 1998 $1400 couch in to a $600 couch. I spent a lot of hours a day with a fine paint brush painting wood grain with a fine brush over wax filled cracks and scratches to keep all the furniture looking perfect. Never have we had a customer think the scratches came new when they bought something but twice I remember customers coming back some time later to buy something else and they both made a comment about how easily their expensive furniture got scratched. I don't think it is the right thing to do but I was young and it was my job. This stuff just doesn't last and is not good for a surface that is being walked on. A resin marker is fine but for a floor you need a more solid a permanent filler.

Answer:	I had to takeoff the wallpaper that was painted over and no it absolutely does not work it makes it 1 million times harder to takeoff the wallpaper you’re better off soaking it with hot water and scraping it off in long strips/ scrapes when you do the scoring it comes off in like little chips. Do not use!!
