Answer:	Seller dimension are fake!, The real interior laptop dimensions are 16.5"x1"x12.5". This dimesions are for 15.7" laptops but NOT for 17". Nice bag, I really like it. My 17" laptop does fit tight (on the sides) in the rest of the bag, but the padded compartment is kind of the point. The main zipper is strong but the zipper in front pocket is very cheap. I returned this product.

Answer:	“According to my understanding” A short answer to your question - No, Alpine Swiss is not made in or by a Swiss company, it’s made in California I wouldn’t say Alpine Swiss is defrauding anyone because its not trying to claim on their website that its based in Switzerland. But by not making any effort to tell its customers that its a US based company and has no connection to Switzerland is certainly shady in my opinion. I bet 99% of their customers straightaway think its a Switzerland based company and a good chuck of it would be confusing it with the likes of Swiss Gear and Victorinox. Answer:	"Top-grain leather means leather that has been made from the top or outermost layer of cowhide." - This appears to be the top layer of hide of an animal while the definition implies cowhide I feel that depending on the integrity of the manufacturer the definition becomes looser. Alpine Swiss is owned by american based companies and has been operation for about 10 years now. I believe this is indeed fine top grain leather of some kind.

Answer:	As long as they are regular size bottles and not the thick ones. Any larger and you will have trouble sliding them because of tightness. You will not be able to like the large Yeti thermos also or any container with handles. You may have trouble getting 12 or 20 oz bottles out because they will drop down so far so put something in the bottom that will come out easily to keep your bottom from dropping down to far. Side pocket is great size for umbrella.

Answer:	@colorblue I have a13” MacBoor Air which fits with plenty of room to spare, so I’m sure it will also fit your HP. The main compartment can fit some clothing, but pretty limited on how much. Not sure what you’re planning on packing, but you may need to roll and fold your items very tightly to fit it all. I love my Tumi and two of my coworkers loved it enough to also get their own. I would recommend putting the shoes at the bottom part of the bad and then stacking the gym clothes and Bose headphones last. Answer:	I use mine for travel, and yes - it fits a lot of things. My flights can be as long as 10 hours in one sitting, and I want to have my stuff available. I carry a Surface Book 2 computer, a Samsung Tab S3 tablet, Bose headphones (entertainment), Samsung Gear IconX headset (for calls), an 8.5x11 inch white board notebook and associated pens, mobile office stuff (regular pens, Altoids, glasses cleaning cloth, ibuprofen) plus all of the associated power cords and wall adapters - and a nice sized sandwich for the flight plus an umbrella just in case. Yeah, it is heavy, but the luggage handle pass through means when I get my bag my suitcase shoulders the weight, not me. Unless you are looking to park a Cooper Mini in there, it should hold what you need for your journeys...

Answer:	It would be very tight. Even with a 13 inch there is not much room left on top. I’m not sure if you will be able to zip it up with a 14 inch. I would get a bag then that fits a 15 inch laptop to be on the safe side.

Answer:	The case I received on January 30th (2021) in Los Angeles (delivered the day after I placed my order, so this had to come from an LA warehouse) has an OUTSIDE length measurement of 17 7/8 inches, not 18.5 inches. The inside length is 16 3/8 inches and the inside width is 7 3/8 inches. The two interior pockets fold flat against the sides, so the maximum inside width clearance between the folded pockets is only 7 1/4". For an inch and a quarter at the four corners, the double seams of the folded pockets cut the available width to about 7 1/8 inches. The overall OUTSIDE height is 13 1/4" from the base of the four brass-button feet to the top of the handle, lying flat against the case top. The folding top of the case is just a double layer of thick vinyl with heavy stitching. The top of my case DOES NOT fold over and stay open. For that you would need the metal piano hinge closures of a more expensive case like Stebco makes for traveling salesmen. However, those are going to cost you 3x the price of this bag. This case also lacks an interior crush proof plastic shell like the higher price bags. Both ends of the case are thin plastic shell on the inside, and the sides feel like fiber board covered in vinyl. You can sit on some of the Stebco professional cases. Don't try sitting on this. It will bend out of form. All things considered, this Heritage Case with free shipping ($56+ on Amazon) is the best deal available. It has a 5 year (rather worthless) guarantee, but at that price don't expect to be returning it. This may last you a lifetime, but it is not really designed for that. Don't expect to put it through air travel with your checked luggage. It won't last very long in the hands of commercial baggage handlers. However, if you intend to be kind to it, it should last for decades and you'll get your money's worth. Bottomline: definitely good value for the money.

Answer:	The other end of the cable has a steel circle on the end (like a washer). The bottom of the box (where the top and bottom come together when closed) has a u-shaped slot cut into it just big enough for the cable. Before you close the box, you lay the cable in the slot such that the washer is inside the box. Once the box is closed and locked, you can’t pull the cable out because the washer is bigger than the hole for the cable.
