Answer:	Check your CPAP label. Many, if not most, are 120-240 already. No need for a converter (just use the correct plug adapter)

Answer:	You need a heavy duty converter to deal with those items, as they use a lot of current (power = voltage x current). Or, as others have said elsewhere, buy devices that can use voltages from 110 - 240 and then buy the adapter for the plug. A heavy duty converter weighs a LOT, so it will cut into your allowed weight for your luggage.

Answer:	I can't speak for the power conversion in Israel, but my experience in Spain demonstrated the device could not handle my wife's flat-iron (hair straightener). It worked for phones, ipads, camera chargers, and all other electronics great. Her flat iron would power on (light would come on indicating it was operating) but it never got hot enough to use.

Answer:	If all you are using this for is iPads or iPhones, you are wasting money. Those devices auto-detect the voltage coming in. They adapt to whatever power you are using (110v-220v, anyway). All you need is a plug converter.Laptop computers also should auto-detect. Look at your power block - it should say "Input 100-240v, 50-60Hz."

Answer:	In my case, it has been working fine. I use it for the devices which I bought mostly in China where only 220 voltage is available. I suggest you to use it as below. 1. 110-115V. Power source: Plug it to the power source using the cable behind the machine. And make it sure that you put the red indicator which is at back side just above the power cable at 115V. and plug 220V. devices into this machine using 220V. outrage which locates at left side of front side. 2. 220V. Answer:	If I understand the question, it's simply a 220 plugin that you attach a 220 appliance to, and it plugs into a 110 wall socket. I have a 220 1600w donut machine that I plug into it, and it works fine. Do the math and find out what the total wattage is for your generator and pump.

Answer:	First of all in general it's not a great idea do you use a voltage converter for appliances that generate a lot of heat. But that doesn't mean it won't work. If you're going to try it, you want at least a 2000 watt voltage converter or maybe even 3 or 5000. Reason is that appliances that heat might say they're thousand Watts, but that's usually calculated as their average wattage once they're up to temperature and running. When you first turn it on and it's heating up oh, it's likely that the wattage is actually much higher until it gets to temperature. For example I had a 1500 watt water kettle. Blew out the fuse on my 2000 w voltage converter, because when you turn it on it spikes higher than 2000. so it's a good rule of thumb to buy a voltage converter that can handle about 3x whatever wattage you need especially for a heating appliance. It's also like the top speed of a car. just because a car can go 200 miles per hour doesn't mean you should run it at 200 miles per hour for long periods of time. You'll wear it out and damage it pretty quickly. So if you have a 900 watt appliance you don't really want to run that on a thousand watt voltage converter, it puts too much stress on it and you're better off getting a 2000 watt converter

Answer:	Not recommended. Women's blow dryer require more than 1000W to operate with heat on. The good ones are on the 2000W range. Once you start blowing with heat you will eventually burn the fuse. You have to use a step up transformer with the appropriate rating. Unfortunately, any step up transformer of 1000W and above I have seen are massive (like 10lbs). By chance I have one 1000W and another 1500W. I use the second for my European expresso machine and works fine. I tried one 1850W blow dryer on both and the difference is noticeable and even in the big one it is not like it used to be in Singapore @ 220V outlet. Bottom line: It is cheaper and easier to have a second 110V blow dryer.

Because I thought, oh lemme buy that 40" flat screen Samsung at Walmart on sale for $350 because I thought the equivalent would cost a lot more in Europe. Nope, yes maybe a little more than Walmart, but after you factor in the transformer and the sheer ugliness of it (and you cant/shouldn't hide it inside of something else because it makes heat and needs air) where are you? First of all, appliances don't last forever and they have to be replaced eventually. So suggest you/others re-examine your need path on this before you commit.

Answer:	It will, but it probably isn't necessary. Most laptop/computer power supplies will accept from 100-240v input. READ THE FINE PRINT on the computer's power supply itself and look for the input voltage. If this is the case with yours, then you'll only need a simple travel adapter (cost well under 10 dollars) or a replacement cord with the proper plug to fit your wall outlet.
