Answer:	While this product will make stone and grout resistant to water and oil stains, it will not make the product waterproof.
Question:	Does this sealer have silicone in it? I was told to find a silicone-based sealer for my honed granite countertops, but am having a hard time
Answer:	We are not aware of a good Stone or granite sealer on the market that utilizes silicone as an additive. Bulletproof is a great product for honed granite.

Answer:	I used two products a cleaner http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00065W8DQ/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and this and my tables came out with a nice clean and natural shine. By natural I am not talking reflective of light, a shine similiar to the way a stone looks when you take it out of the water. The two products really made my tables beautiful without making the stone look fake and laminated. If you are truly wanting a gloss, I would agree that you might need a professional to come and seal it with something that will have that high shine. However for the price you could always try this first, if you have granite or stone stuff other areas of the house you can always use this there :)

Answer:	Marble life granite or marble cleaner, it is safe on all stones, all metal, paint, wood, great for cleaning up grease with great oil emulsifiers, developed by Union Carbide over 20 years ago. available on Amazon

Answer:	For quartz, I would recommend the Stainproof Plus. This sealer will actually penetrate quartz which is non-pourus while other sealers will not. Most quartz manufacturers advertise that quartz does not need to be sealed but we have seen some quartz products that do in fact stain. Some more than others.
Question:	How much area does it cover? How many linear feet of grout does it cover
Answer:	Depending on what you are sealing, the average coverage on a typical seal is 70sqft. Per quart.On grout sealing, again depending on the size and depth of the grout joint, we've gotten about 250 sqft out of 1 quart.
Question:	Does it work on travertine? I didn't see travertine listed on the stones it's made for
Answer:	Sorry but my experience is not good. I spent 2 days properly applying 2 coats to travertine tiles around our pool. The protection lasted for about 8 weeks only. Very disappointed. I think Stain Proof is a big waste of money and as others have said the company do not stand behind their products. Never again!

Question:	Would this be a good application for outdoor granite
Answer:	Yes. When applying H2Seal to a honed and polished granite surface allow the sealer 5-10 minutes to absorb into the granite before removing excess with terry or microfiber cloth. Since most granite has a dense surface, only a small amount of H2Seal is needed to penetrate and seal.

Answer:	Thank you for your question. If the travertine is honed or polished, and most pavers are, the best sealer is going to be one that uses a small molecule version silicon. In general, siloxanes will be larger molecules, silanes, siliconates and silicates can be/generally are, smaller. Siloxanes will still work, but may take longer to penetrate and can darken the surface. H2100 uses siliconates that proven to be very effective on denser surfaces like travertine. Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. Yes you can. Apply one coat, depending on the density of the tile, it will fully absorb or only partially absorb. If it only partially absorbs wipe off any excess. 1. Prepare Surface

Thoroughly clean surfaces and remove any coatings or residue. For tough build-up, Miracle Sealants Miracle Heavy Duty Cleaner Acid Substitute is recommended.

2. Apply Sealer to Dry Surface

Answer:	It is a spray so would be tough doing the whole house

Answer:	I am not positive, but I would imagine allowing the grout pen drying for 24 hours it would be fine. This product was recommended by the contractor that laid my tile and what he uses.

Answer:	I have used Black Diamond Granite Sealer one time after installing our granite counter top 3 years ago. The Sealer was very easy to use....almost fun! The results were perfect! I would highly recommend it. I also use the Black Diamond cleaner almost everyday, Love that too!
Question:	How long the sealant stays on granite? Do we have to apply regularly? If so on what basis
Answer:	I was told eight hours to dry by the granite installers. As far as I know, I reseal the granite every six months, if it has been taken care of with granite cleaners when needed. Hope this helps

Answer:	I'd have to say no on that one. It could probably take a little heat but anything close to direct flames, forget it.

Answer:	I don't know for sure, but with the way it looks and feels on my table, I would think that yes, it will make the stone slick.
Question:	How do you apply it? Brush, spray bottle, pesticide spray hose etc? I'll be using it for about 30 stones approx 7"x
Answer:	We applied it to a slate floor with a wool pad applicator, made for applying floor finishes. Worked well. We were going to use a paint roller, but since the instructions didn't mention that in its list of ways to apply, I was worried it may create bubbles or cause problems. The instructions do list a pad applicator, paint brush, or low presure sprayer. The consistemcy out of the bottle is about like skim milk, or watered down Elmers glue. Dries within an hour, pleasant smell, easy to work with. Did 3 coats. We are extremely pleased with the results.

Question:	Need to seal 3 cracks on top glass panel of aquarium that i plan to use as a terrarium.is it visible when it dries?don't want to see/feel any residue
Answer:	It may not be significantly visible, but it will not hide surface cracks of clear glass. Any residue can be cleanly removed on the surface with a razor blade. Whether or not it can be felt depends on the gap width. The number of cracks does not matter, but the type of crack does, and that was not described.
Question:	Can this be used instead of grout for ceramic tile installed outdoors, under a roof but exposed to weather, in Florida. Is it totally clear
Answer:	It is clear, and I doubt it would hold up under the weather as it doesn’t bond water tight to smooth surfaces. It’s easy to peel off most surfaces.

Answer:	Lesley, I have used this product for years and believe me, it works. Yes, I think you could use this to seal your sunroof, but you might have a tough time getting it open, that is if you decide to do so. Use it as it works. JB

1. Use enough ventilation and wearing rubber gloves

2. Ensure the silicone area is dry as water will dilute the solution and it may affect the effectiveness of the gel

3. Apply a 3mm thick gel to the area with the convenient nozzle.

Question:	Does it bleach the caulk white? I have colored caulk
Answer:	No does now work period.
Question:	can this be used on acrylic showers
Answer:	You could try one inconspicuous spot, maybe the size of a nickel, and let it sit on there for the recommended time. Wash it off and see the results. Remember to use it on a dry area. This is meant for mold on grout lines. I wouldn't use it on large plain/smooth surfaces. There are other products for those problems.
Question:	Can you only use this for white caulking? Can it be used on brown caulking
Answer:	Either contact the supplier or manufacturer regarding this, or try a very small area to see if it will not bleach out the brown caulk.
Question:	Can you use this on rubber in a front load washing machine that has black mold
Answer:	You may be able to, but I would test a very small area first to see if it would harm the rubber. Also the product would have to be carefully removed completely so as to not get it on clothing or skin from contact with the product. It may take several attempts to wipe it off completely using clean water and a rag.

Answer:	I don't see why you would want to -- marble and stone are porous so need sealant, porcelain is not, so shouldn't need it

Answer:	After a few minutes wipe off excess with dry cotton towel. If you miss any (like if it dries on polished porcelain tile) you can spray some sealer on it again and wipe it all off. Cleans up nicely.

Question:	Will this work on polished concrete floor
Answer:	I have had it on the counter top for a year and no scratches or burn spots. I also put the epoxy on some wood boards to use as placemats for the hot pots. All came out really nice

Answer:	If you are going to sand, you will want to start rough, around 120 grit and work your way through the grits to around 1200 grit and finish it with a polish. If you do that, then yes, it will absolutely be shiny.
