Answer:	It is not well made. My cheaper scraper works better. Cannot recommend.

Answer:	I am sure it depends on how much you use it. I only use it to take drips off of glass when I paint, so seldom. I have only changed mine once over YEARS of use.

Answer:	I purchased this scraper to use for my cook top and I change the blade each time I use it. I spray my cook top with vinegar and then sprinkle baking soda on it and rub the products around so all of the baking soda gets wet with the vinegar. I let it sit for at least 15 minutes and then use the scraper. It works beautifully.

Answer:	Extend the blade out until it locks. Look at the clip that holds the blade, one side will have bent back edges front and back. Slide the blade out that side by using the edge on a work bench on the opposite side of the bent edges. Replace blade opposite removal.

Question:	My blades snap off easily. Sometimes after 1 or 2 strokes to remove hardened paint from windows. What is going on? Thanks
Answer:	It's hard to say what's going on. It could be that you're just being too aggressive in trying to remove the paint. Enamel paint can be pretty hard and if you're jamming the blade against it, that could snap the blade off. If it was me, I would try heating up the paint with a "heat gun" a little bit to soften it. You have to be careful with the glass, though. Too much heat and the glass is likely to crack.

Answer:	I don't know but the appropriate blades are easy to find and not expensive, and I'm sure much safer to use.

Answer:	I don't have an induction cooktop, but know a metal razor will scratch metal. I do use the metal blade to clean stainless & cast cookware and don't scratch often but can evenin the flat areas. This usually happen on an older blade. It does take off the burnt residue.

Answer:	Using one of the plastic blades you could. But it’s best to use a heat gun on it first so the adhesive gets soft. I’ve removed badges and lettering from cars this way.
