Answer:	The large tube is the one you hold. The small tube, which screws into your broom head, etc., can slide the full length of the inside of the large tube. The locking mechanism is a set of cams made of plastic affixed to the top of small tube. There's an outer cam that grips the inside of the large tube and an inner cam that rotates inside the outer cam and by doing so changes its shape from round to oval so that it grips or releases. Yes, the tubes are TUBES, so they're both hollow everywhere, but neither tube is open at both ends. The top of the large tube has a hanging socket mounted in it. The small tube is closed at both ends, with the cams at one end and the broomstick thread at the other end. This locking mechanism is so-so in terms of function and durability. For sweeping and painting it's awesome because the entire pole is so light and versatile, but if your task involves twisting on the pole (e.g. changing light bulbs) the pole is prone to unlock. I've had it unlock while sweeping too. The outer cam will also wear down against the inside of the large tube over many cycles of locking-unlocking, causing the locking action to start slipping eventually, with the small tube rotating endlessly in the large tube and never securely locking. I've had one for ten years that I've used occasionally and the locking mechanism is now slipping this way. For the price, that durability isn't too bad. While it still worked well, I loved this pole.

Answer:	I would say it's marginal. If you are careful, and don't put too much strain on it, yes. If you plan to do serious work - say rolling paint for hours - no. As far as the physical ability to link the segments together, it's present. You could reach the moon by buying about 60,000,000 of them. But I don't think it would work out when put to the test.

Answer:	The brush attachment when brush is inserted will be at "hockey stick" angle and by turning your extension pole the brush will even paint upside down. You can also change the brush angle to turn to the side. You can put the brush in the other end of the holder and yes, that will give you the 45° down angle. The roller attachment has 16 different positions. This tool is awesome, it is what I'd call a godsend. You won't regret purchasing this and wish you'd done so long ago. There are videos on you tube that show complete demonstrations, but I would just buy it ASAP and your painting job will go much faster, be much more professional and much safer as you can reach and get to places you'd not be able to before without scaffolding. Answer:	The Revolver has inside screw threads that will thread onto standard outside threads like a broom handle or rake handle. It will also lock fit on Wooster and Purdy quick connect pro painter’s poles.

Answer:	The roller accepts a standard 1/4" core, 4" or a 6" length mini roller cover. They come in different naps such as foam or shed resistant fiber. How it stays on the frame is a friction fit. Answer:	Yes it can depending on brush size and angle to the wall. As I have used in a tight space, the tilt of end keep the knob off ceiling. IF you are standing at ~ 45 deg. angle from wall, you will likely struggle. I have had the brush likely more at 60 deg angle

Question:	Can you recommend an extension pole that would go with this product
Answer:	Corded drills are NOT recommended, i assumed a corded drill would work fine (just a little less convenient and maybe dangerous in wet areas) however i just happened to noticed on the Driilbrush website FAQs (https://www.drillbrush.com/faqs/) they anwered NO to this question: Q: Can I use this drill brush in a corded drill? A: No, we don't recommend it because corded drills can have too much torque and many lack the speed control that a battery drill does, which is very useful for fine tuning the RPMs for your application. see less
Question:	Does this come with the long extension part or do I have to buy that separately
Answer:	Does Ideal on tile and porcelain. Used it on kitchen/bath floors and around tub and sink. I also got this - Fugenial "Fuginator" Tile joint brush for use in the bathroom, kitchen and the rest of the household - Effectively cleans tile joints and removes superficial mold - Blue (universal cleaning). Even stiffer than the other one for really bad stuff. That second one is arm powered only, but has done me great, especially for outside tiled areas.

Question:	I just got my pole. It seem somewhat loose when extended. I mean it bobbles where the extension fits into the main handle. Are your extensions loose
Answer:	Sorry for the delayed response. We were closed for the holidays. Our poles do have a little "play" when extended but not enough that is should effect the performance of the pole.
