Answer:	I cannot say for sure, and I really do not know. However, I don't think a weld would hold and I am pretty sure it would NOT block a current of electricity. In both cases, I would strongly recommend contacting the manufacturer.

Answer:	Absolutely you can, and it would make no sense to use it the other way around. It's a primer.

Answer:	I did not thin it and I used a compressed air sprayer, but the trick is to very well clean the sprayer soon after it is used. I think thinning it would reduce its long term usefulness and effectiveness.

Question:	Can this be used for spraying painted rocks to seal them for leaving outside
Answer:	Not sure about this product since I have not used it. I would use a spray polyurethane and apply it in a number of coats. It made yellow a little bit with time. I make totems with glass and wood and use spray polyurethane often and it holds up well so far outside.

Answer:	Ok, I just read the garb on the can that I bought and it does not say it is safe for childrens toys. I use that as an indication that it is probably not safe to have in skin contact or be used on something that could possibly come in contact with the mouth if the paint was to peel off. A lot of paint cans say - suitable for childrens toys, if I was you I would look for one that states that, then it should be your best option for the helmet. My thoughts only.

Answer:	no i wouldn't advise putting spray paint on shoes lol!!

Answer:	No, it's only one. The cans are all different prices depending on the color you get. Some cans are more expensive than others, for instance the Dover White is over $16 but it's still only one can. I don't know why the prices vary so greatly.

Answer:	Great question. It is best to lightly sand and clean the surface and then apply 2 or 3 light coats of paint.

Answer:	We sprayed it onto a paper plate, then used a tiny paint brush to paint it on our very small scratch, and it looks much better. The color match for our LG black stainless fridge is very good.

Answer:	Since matching an automotive paint can be very disappointing, I would suggest that you first try some on a piece of metal, allow it to dry and then hold it near the paint of the car to see if the color and type of paint matches well enough to satisfy you.There are some companies, such as DupliColor, which offer exact match auto paints at many automotive parts stores. If the scratch does not go all the way through the existing paint, you might try the "Clear Coat" scratch repair kits which renews the clear coat finish and in many cases makes the scratch almost invisible.
Question:	Is it good for outside too
Answer:	Absolutely! When I was researching this product, I saw people using it for mailboxes, house letters, outdoor lights, etc. In fact, we painted our house numbers with it months ago and they look great. I think you'll love this product BUT . . . don't buy it with this nozzle!!!! The nozzle does not work very well. You would like this product more if you buy it in a can with the regular nozzle, then buy one of Rustoleum's clip-on nozzles to use it with. MUCH better operating and way less wasteful. Trust me on this one! I wasted nearly a whole can of paint with this stupid nozzle. It sputtered all over the place. Lots of reviewers warned me, but I didn't listen and sure enough they were right. The paint itself is great, though.

Multiple coats are recommended, especially if painting over a light surface. In this case, 3 coats may be required. Answer:	Yes, I used it to spray some football pads for a Halloween costume. It turned out great. It went on evenly and never rubbed off. The color remained intact as well.

Answer:	I like to put the toppings on the salad first, it helps them stick better, then spray and let dry for 5 or 10 min., next stop, add your favorite dressing and it's ready to serve!

Question:	Will this work on cardboard boxes
Answer:	I haven't tried liquid chalk but this is an awesome product for use with chalk sticks.
Question:	How much will one can cover
Answer:	I did - a whoooooole lot of mirrors, actually. My classroom used to be an old dance classroom and there was an entire wall of mirrors at the front. I used this stuff to spray paint over it and turn it into a makeshift chalkboard, and I have two caveats: 1. While it can and DOES work on a mirror, you need to make absolutely certain that the mirror is clean. Like, spotless. Otherwise it's going to cause bumps and bubbles and make actually writing on it kind of troublesome.2. You will probably need to do at least two coats - one seems to be too thin and can cause chalk to "scrape through" the paint, so I'd definitely do at least two coats to make sure you've got a good chalkboard base.Do those two things, and you'll be good to go!
Question:	Can you use liquid chalk on this or do you have to use the chalk sticks only
Answer:	Dear Customer, thank you for your question. We do not recommend using chalk markers. The liquid used to fill chalk markers with liquid chalk may be of various quality and it could be difficult to wipe the liquid chalk off from the painted surface. Best regards, e-concreto
Question:	Anyone tried this on a mirror
Answer:	Dear Customer, thank you for your question. It should work on glass but it really depends on the structure of the glass surface. Tips for a Perfect Chalkboard Finish

Remove any loose paint or rust, lightly sand glossy surfaces, rinse clean with soap/water and let surface fully dry.

Sanding surface before application allows for a smooth finish. Primer is recommended, especially for use on bare wood or metal. For best brush-on results, use a foam roller.

Condition Surface

After 3 days, rub the side of a piece of chalk over the entire surface to increase erasability and then erase clean.

Wait for 7 Days Before Wiping Down

In order to achieve the best chalkboard surface, wait 7 days after conditioning with chalk before cleaning with soap and water. Repeat conditioning step after wiping down.

Question:	can this be used to paint cement
Answer:	Even though this oil based enamel is made to be used on metal, it will stick to clean dry concrete, which is dried cement . I know this because I had some drip onto a sidewalk while painting something else two years ago, and the paint is still there.
Question:	Does this come with a lid opener
Answer:	no it doesn't
Question:	Is this paint Water proof? In other words does it help seal up the wood when applied? Thanks
Answer:	You will need a primer if the wood is bare. It resists moisture, thus preventing rust, but is not for immersion. If you need extra water proofing, I would seal the wood with something especially for that purpose. However, I am not truly experienced in this area, so do check with someone else. I got this paint for my metal balcony chairs. I only used it on my wood table so far and it has sealed perfectly through this past Pennsylvania winter.
Question:	Does this item contain Alkyds
Answer:	This is oil based enamel is for use on metal. As far as I can see, the label does not mention alkyds anywhere. It does say: Warning :Contains Petroleum Distillates. Vapor harmful. May affect the brain or nervous system...blah blah blah... Use only with adequate ventilation. " And also: "Unleaded- Safe for use on children's toys, furniture, etc Max VOC<500 g/l. For metal surfaces only." Hope this helps.

Question:	Is this oil based or water based
Answer:	Oil based. The sprayer is absolutely terrible. You will end up with paint all over your hand.
Question:	Will it keep rust away from metal outdoor table subject to moisture from sea air
Answer:	This paint flows well and covers well, but it is still paintIf you have iron or soft steel with paint on it outdoors near the sea, you will have to mainain it or it will rust right through the paint
Question:	If I use this to paint a bicycle, do I need to sand the old paint off first
Answer:	You do not need to sand the old paint off. Just make sure the old paint is still on good. If you are able sand the surface with a fine grit sandpaper to assure the new paint sticks better. Also feather out areas after removing peeling paint so it adheres well and looks good when done. Hope this helps.
Question:	Is the matte farmhouse black a true black, or more of a matte dark bronze/ almost black
Answer:	There's something about this that's so black, it's like how much more black could this be? And the answer is none. None more black.

Question:	how many units comes with the order of Rust-Oleum spray transparent Lacker cans for
Answer:	The price of these cans is somewhat volatile. It seems to be affordable if you buy direct from Amazon as an add on item, but can be over $15 from third parties. There is only one can in the order.
Question:	Can this be used on rubber, like on the soles of shoes
Answer:	It can be sprayed on anything. Multiple coats will build thickness. The solvents will attack some rubber or some plastics. After it dries, continuous flexing would crack a coating.
Question:	Spray on stainless steel bathroom shower caddy
Answer:	it will work on stainless steel. if you are using clear coat, the surface needs to be rough in order for it to stick. if you are using the lacquer paint, it will stick to stainless fairly well. it has to be dry and clean at start and dont get it wet for at least 24 hours.
Question:	Can I use this product to spray over a picture glued onto a painted wood surface
Answer:	Hello, I don't know what your picture is made of. Is it a print on paper, a painting, or something else?Rustoleum spray lacquer is not compatible with acrylic, so could ruin your art if there is an acrylic finish already on it. I recommend you get a spray can of Krylon Crystal Clear spray ACRYLIC (not lacquer) in gloss, satin, matte, or what ever finish you want. This is compatible with many different types of paints and finishes. Test it first, if you can. I don't recommend either finish for valuable art. Michael's also has various spray finishes (more expensive) made for coating prints and paintings, like picture varnish or something similar. (I usually use Rustoleum spray lacquer only on ceramics and metal.) Good luck!!!
