Answer:	Hi, thanks for your question. Newly laid asphalt surfaces should be allowed to cure 45 to 60 days before coating. This curing time frame is necessary for all the solvents in the asphalt to evaporate. The surface must be free of dirt, loose gravel, oil or other foreign matter that could be detrimental to coating adhesion. Any oil or grease spots must be treated with an Oil and Grease Emulsifier. Best results for general preparation will be obtained by power washing; however, conscientious sweeping and water hose rinsing may suffice. Sure Step® is self – priming on bare asphalt.

Answer:	For previously coated surfaces: Remove all dirt, dust, chalk, mildew or flaking paint by power washing. An alternate method is to scrape, wire brush, wash the surface with a solution of one part bleach to three parts water, then rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow it to dry. Sure Step may be easily applied by roller, brush or squeegee. Stir contents thoroughly to assure even dispersion of pigment. Apply product at a rate of 80 to 120 square feet per gallon. May be recoated in 8 hours under good drying conditions. Two coats of Sure Step are required for proper performance.

Answer:	Hi Jeremy, We would not recommend this product for fiberglass or a boat. Gel stains do much better on fiberglass and this product was not designed to be used as a marine coating.

Answer:	No more than the usual paint smell. Not objectionable to use. I painted a porch and deck so was outdoors. But, I would expect no problem to paint indoors. Just good practice to ventilate the area.
Question:	Can i paint my travertine stairs with this paint
Answer:	I would not. First of all, it is latex(water based) it will not hold up well on travertine. Secondly, WHY would you ever want to paint travertine? If the tile is porous, you will have to fill it with a cementitious fill and then paint it. If you DO paint it, I would prep it, fill it, prep again, and then use an EPOXY, one or two part, to completely cover and seal it. A good epoxy would be from Armorpoxy.com. Stay away from those big store brand garage floor epoxies.

Answer:	yes you can. If at all possible try to sand your tile a little to get sheen off. Use a good quality primer for tile first and than paint with Valspar. I used this on my steps outside and mixed some sand and it lasted great. I live in northeast so it snows alot. Even throwed calcium chloride on it and no problems. Love this paint. Well worth the money.
Question:	will this work on hardwood floors
Answer:	We used it on hardwood floors, and it looks nice, but there are spots were it has chipped. Therefore, next time we do it, we'll try putting a layer of polyurethane on top.

Answer:	Yes, it's good quality and non slip, non heat but it is thick so you'll need more than what you would use for general paint coverage. We have a large deck (10x30ish) and we needed nearly 3 gallons to do complete coverage in two coats. It's pricey, but we hope it lasts longer than one season.

Answer:	Yes, but unless you don't plan on sweeping or mopping the floor I wouldn't use it on its own. It feels like rough concrete when applied. As a base coat that is covered in regular paint for concrete it works great. Once covered you end up with a textured, skid resistant floor that is sweep-able and mop-able.

Question:	How many coatings to be covered
Answer:	Cut the viscosity by adding one cup of water to gallon of paint. It covered the 8 foot by 16 foot concrete porch with some light spots. Thats 50 year old concrete with a pock marked surface. Put on another coat that make it uniform. Had paint remaining in the can.

Answer:	Yes, it's small grains embedded in the paint. After drying the surface is slightly textured.
