Answer:	While I have not used this particular builders level for the purpose described, I have used it to level numerous (more than 20) foundations and block courses with great accuracy. This level, when set up properly, is one of the most accurate on the market and even surpasses the accuracy of many laser levels that cost much more. I am on my second Dewalt builders level, I donated the first one to an organization that could not afford one, it still operates accurately to this day (it is 12 years old). One word of advice, if at all possible set the level up in an area that is not in direct sunlight if it is hot out, that is the only thing that seems to affect the accuracy (i think it is because the entire level does not expand with the heat at the same time). Answer:	It should...it takes time, but what you want to do is keep the level bubble between the lines in a 360° pattern. Big adjustments make with the legs, small adjustments with the mounted levelers. If you're not familiar with setting up a transit spend a little extra on a lazer self leveler.

Answer:	I have used mine at several 100 feet with no problems.... i can not attest to how far it will go if i had to estimate i would say I’ve used mine from about 250-300 feet leveling my driveway for drainage purposes (which is 500 feet long) , and have never gone out of range
