Question:	What materials are board made out of
Answer:	This is a switch only and there are no "brains" for the controller involved. You also need the correct knee bolster (which the dealer cannot help you with and sold me the wrong one). The wires are separate. I bought this and the wires but cannot use it so I installed an aftermarket brake controller and I'm using that with this part (with wires) sitting in my truck doing absolutely nothing since it is unusable.
Question:	Are the key caps hot swappable
Answer:	If yiur truck didn't. Come with a brake controller ypu need an aftermarket controller and this will NOT work.
Question:	Does it accept 3pin switches or 5pin
Answer:	No, there is a brake unit attached to the master cylinder and transmission controller unit plus you cant buy the wiring harness. I wanted the same thing for my truck!
Question:	can you remove the switches
Answer:	If the part number says it will fit your vehicle, Gm has used the same connector for a few years but wire configuration in the connector is not the same as some of the other years, so if it doesn't say it will fit the wires probably aren't in the connector ports as yours which will short and cause a fire instantly. They plug in under drivers floor plastic foot rest.
