Answer:	It's really made for indoors but in low-light situations at a short distance you might be able to use it outdoors I use it on a tripod indoors and outdoors but you can't go real far out doors due to the light it's a decent laser just for what you pay for it I feel it should be better made .. a better fine line then my DeWalt but my DeWalt laser I feel as build better and the acessories are better quality than a piece of bent steel the magnets are better on my DeWalt but I like my stabila for a factor of having a laser line and a laser plumb bob makes it nice when you're trying to align your line to Marks that are going to get covered up.. hope this helps you another fact that bums me out is you can't use a receiver with this like most models out these days you can use the receiver with it to go further distances including outside

Answer:	It has a magnet on the back but I have owned this for over a year and to be honest it's an okay laser but I recommend the DeWalt green laser better.. for many reasons first you have options to use it with a receiver or not to go further distances where low light control as well as DeWalt has a lot better control on the buttons and settings I cannot use the laser plumb bob by itself it always has to have a line included with it don't get me wrong it's okay but not the Stabila quality Iam used to.. it's just a everyday Chinese laser with their name on it the bracket that mounts to a wall is just a cheap piece of steel plate where do Walt gives you a clip with more adjustments all-in-all I recommend Walt or a Bosch laser over this and I've owned many different brands and used many different brands just thought this one would be better than it is hope that helps

Answer:	I replaced a battery in one of my APC units and discovered that the fit is so precise that I had to use a metal file to reduce the overall width by about .005". Even then it was a very tight fit. There will always be variations / tolerances in manufacturing. I discovered that it was not worth replacing the batteries. I can purchase new UPS type battery backups (typically on sale) for about the same price as a replacement battery and not have to struggle with hand-fitting issues. I know that those who sell these replacement batteries will not be thrilled with my feedback / assessment. However, I am a handyman, have an extensive background in manufacturing and so on. I use about five UPSs currently in my house right now. I no longer purchase the APC brand because other brands work just as well and I can usually find them on sale.

Answer:	No, it is NOT for seeing without turning it around! It is a HEIGHT scale (measures from the TOP), whereas the main scale on the front (white face) is a GRADE scale (measures from the BOTTOM)

Answer:	Two items were in the small pocket of the carrying case: 1) A replacement release button and a spirt level for plumbing the grading rod to a true vertical for proper measurement. Nice feature not noted in the Amazon ad...I almost ordered a set of spirit levels when I ordered this grading rod; I'm glad I held off until the grading rod arrived. The rod does not come with instruction or care sheet/s...it is pretty straight forward and simple to use. Word of caution: if you should extend the small inner telescoping section first, you will not be able to collapse the section back to the home position until the adjacent section is extended. Once the adjacent section is extended, it will expose a release button that is depressed for collapsing the inner section.
