Answer:	A bit of a strange measurement actually. I measured mine and 8" is from the narrow waist of one jack housing to the narrow waist of the other jack. If you sit the cable on the table with the jacks 90 degrees to the cable, the centre of each 1/4" jack to jack is exactly 10" (tip to tip)

Answer:	The one I got was about 8.5"-ish from 90-degree tip to tip, so technically an 8" cord. But in the past these short patch cables have been a few inches longer, up to 11" or 11.5" tip to tip. They are very adaptable to U- or Z-type angles, though, for pedal-to-pedal connection, depending on the setup you need. They twist a bit and the metal jacks provide good stress relief. So they'll take some abuse, as long as they're not moved around (disconnected) a lot.

It was a warm summer night in Brooklyn and some good friends were in my backyard for gin & tonics. A few drinks in, my teeth felt sticky. I picked up the bottle of tonic water. 32 grams of high fructose corn syrup! Artificial flavors. And artificial preservatives. Sara was drinking a Sprite. I asked to see the can.

Also by using it over the course of a few days to keep the ph where you want it the buffering agent will keep the ph where you want it for a much longer period of time. Baking soda only lasts a fraction of the time that the sachem product will. I use it at much lower doses for my regular fresh water ph needs.
