Answer:	Designed for measurement of moisture content from the surface down to .25” (6.4mm) or .75” (19mm) deep inside wood "The above measurements are conservative. Example, I can place my hand on the opposite side of a 2x4 when taking a reading on the other side and affect the meter reading." FROM THE USER'S MANUAL 1. If the thickness of the piece of wood or other building material is greater than .75 inch (19mm), and you wish to get more of a full thickness rather than a shallow measurement, it is a good idea to take measurements in 3/4” mode on both sides and average the readings. "However, refer to my comment above regarding the 2x4. We have many companies and individuals that use Orions (and our previous MMC models) to measure 1.5 inch thick to 2.0 inch thick material, and are only measuring from one side (face).” 2. To prevent high or inaccurate readings, always have a minimum 1-inch (25mm) air gap underneath the piece of wood you are measuring. Answer:	First, regardless of the meter utilized, in general a meter’s accuracy is somewhat affected by the type and amount of treatment in the wood. Next, the Orion model 930 is well-suited for measuring wood with thicknesses up to 2”. IF there is very little moisture gradient in the thicker pine (3” and above) the depth of readings with the 930 will also represent the overall moisture content of the thicker pieces. Question:	Does this receiver go with a Bosch laser
Answer:	For measuring the moisture in wood that has fairly smooth, flat surfaces at least 2.5 inches by 2.5 inches, one of Wagner’s non-pin Orion-model moisture meters would be fine. If you have rough, rounded surfaces, you may need to use a pin-type moisture meter with longer pins with insulated shafts on a slide hammer cabled to the actual meter.

Answer:	It's really made for indoors but in low-light situations at a short distance you might be able to use it outdoors I use it on a tripod indoors and outdoors but you can't go real far out doors due to the light it's a decent laser just for what you pay for it I feel it should be better made .. a better fine line then my DeWalt but my DeWalt laser I feel as build better and the acessories are better quality than a piece of bent steel the magnets are better on my DeWalt but I like my stabila for a factor of having a laser line and a laser plumb bob makes it nice when you're trying to align your line to Marks that are going to get covered up.. hope this helps you another fact that bums me out is you can't use a receiver with this like most models out these days you can use the receiver with it to go further distances including outside
Question:	Can I use this level to determin if the floor in a room has settled on one side compared to the other
Answer:	It has a magnet on the back but I have owned this for over a year and to be honest it's an okay laser but I recommend the DeWalt green laser better.. for many reasons first you have options to use it with a receiver or not to go further distances where low light control as well as DeWalt has a lot better control on the buttons and settings I cannot use the laser plumb bob by itself it always has to have a line included with it don't get me wrong it's okay but not the Stabila quality Iam used to.. it's just a everyday Chinese laser with their name on it the bracket that mounts to a wall is just a cheap piece of steel plate where do Walt gives you a clip with more adjustments all-in-all I recommend Walt or a Bosch laser over this and I've owned many different brands and used many different brands just thought this one would be better than it is hope that helps

Self-leveling mode & Manual mode
