Remember that the container depth is 1" inside so definitely not made for big sandwiches but we have tested the typical PB&J, ham & cheese and turkey and they all fit being sliced diagonally. Extra condiments like vegetables, side dishes or extra deli meat can be put into the 2 smaller compartments to keep the sandwich from becoming soggy over time.
