Answer:	I took them on vacation for a week. Wore them at the beach,and around the pool. They were wet and covered with sand. no problems yet.

Answer:	I don't think they are, I always thought bikini panties were higher cut on the thigh, these aren't higher cut like bikini cut, but these are great panties!
