Answer:	I would highly recommend you not use any bulb higher than what your mirror actually recommends as the appropriate replacement. I can tell you that Conair's Customer Service Number is an EXCELLENT resource for trying to find out what the appropriate LED replacement bulb you can use to replace any regular incandescent bulb that has blown out for much longer life and less heat radiating from your mirror which is incredibly irritating, and additionally it will definitely also help to lower energy costs. Although, many might not think that little bulb won't make a noticeable difference. I promise you that everyone you're capable of replacing ANY of your old incandescent lighting with new long-life and lower energy drain, you'll notice a difference in the amount of money you spend replacing bulbs FAR more often than you'll be replacing your newer LED Bulbs, old incandescent lighting puts out intense heat, and pull more energy to actually illuminate. So, I will say the only place on Earth I might actually find that the amount of heat old incandescent lighting might actually benefit me in ANY possible way is if I lived in Antarctica wear the insane heat might actually help keep my central heating system not have run as often as if I had 100% incandescent lighting. Lol... Anyways, Conair will happily look up your model number vanity mirror and tell you what the appropriate LED bulb replacement is the 100% accurate equivalent to the outdated 10 or 20 watt 120 volt; Type T bulb and will also make certain you're not a possible fire risk due to your wattage the vanity mirror's recommended replacement.

Answer:	There are screws at the bottom that keep the bottom ring on. If you unscrew those and take off the ring you should be able to change the bulb. It is a little tight so if you have large fingers it might be more difficult.
