Answer:	If you don’t press the button the outlet won’t work. It does automatically turn off after 39 min.
Question:	Does this automatically activate when you turn on the appliance? Or do you need to push a button on the timer
Answer:	You can turn if off by pressing the button once. There is about a 1 second delay between pressing the button and the on or off event. I believe that if you press the button twice really quick while the output is on (within less than 1 second) you can extend the time 30 more minutes without turning off the output. I use this on a single serve coffee maker and sometimes want to extend the run time without removing power from the unit.

Question:	Can this be used with a 5000 W heater
Answer:	No. It is limited to 1800 watts at 120 volts. 5000 watts would be three times the switches capacity not to mention a 5000 watt heater should operate on 220 volts.
Question:	What is the current rating of these timers
Answer:	That is a very good question. I had to get the box out that it came in to read the Installation Instructions sheet to find it. For 125VAC 50/60Hz it has a rating of 20 Amps. For this same voltage it will switch on up to a 1HP motor. For this reason I had to use 20 amp (Yellow) 12-2 Romex. For 250VAC 50/60Hz, it will switch on a maximum 2HP motor or 10 Amps. If Amazon would allow attachments in the answer, I would send you a copy of the instruction sheet which lists all of this and more.
Question:	Can you turn it off by rotating the pointer backward? One reviewer says yes
Answer:	I guess I am odd man out. My wife and I routinely would turn it off by rotating it backwards. It failed in less that 2 years. I contacted the manufacturer and specifically ask this question. They said NOT to rotate it backwards.Our 2nd timer is now starting to occasionally stick in a on position. That one is 5 years old.

Question:	will the timer need to be manually rest if there's a power failure?or will it come back on after the electricity is restored
Answer:	Maybe it’s defective. I programmed mine very easily using the program button. I had to Refer to a video on YouTube tho.
Question:	Will this work with a space heater
Answer:	One possibility is that you are trying to get the timed outlets to work immediately after setting them. The clock has to go through the set time to turn things on (think that is has to go through the 24 hour cycle to realize it's time to turn on or off). That would be my first guess, as it has happened to me when dealing with time change and having to go through for the "fall back" issue.

Answer:	My bath fan switch is similar to this but required a ground wire. Also the time sequence was different. It went 5,10,15, and 30. Please note some timers require a ground and some dont. The timer you show should work in your 115vac fan circuit. Hope this helps..... Phillip

Question:	Once programmed is there battery b/u or does it use a capacitor to store the memory for x hours? Would like to replaceable battery backup type unit
Answer:	According to the spec sheet, it has NiMH rechargeable battery, however I do not believe it can be replaced if/when it fails. I have had the power off to one of my switches for about 3 days and it maintained the programming, so it will do the backup. I think I prefer this type of battery over a non-rechargeable that can be replaced, which I have used in the past. On several occasions I did not notice the battery was low on the other types of switches and I lost my programming. So far I like these switches.
Question:	Can I use this for led bulbs and if so is there a minimum wattage

Answer:	If your light is switched from two different locations (3-way) this timer won't help you. The 2-pole timer is for switching a single 220v., 240v. load.

Question:	can i use this with a 20amp heater
Answer:	Yes, but if you're needing to ask, you may want to hire a professional. It would be very easy to overload a circuit with a 20 amp heater and create a fire hazard.
Question:	can this be used with a 220volt 3/4 horse motor
Answer:	i use mine for a 220V 1HP pump motor for my hot tub. Honestly I didn't even check amp rating because I was replacing old switch. Check amp rating on switch against draw on motor.

Answer:	Yes.. wire them as if they were 3-way switches. I have four of them on one circuit that operate one fan. If you look at three-way circuit wiring, it will be easy for you to figure this one out
Question:	What's the purpose of the white button at the bottom? Do you first need to select the time and then press the button at the bottom to start
Answer:	press the white button and it will change the time interval each time. select the time desired, it will shut off automatically.

Question:	Is the timer an actual timer or just turns off after a certain period of time. Can you set it to light at a certain time of day? Thanks
Answer:	It has several set time settings, 5 minutes, 10 and 15 minutes plus full on. For the three time settings the lights shut off. On is on until you press the cover then they shut off. No timer.
Question:	Does this take AA or AAA batteries? Also, are adhesive mounting strips included
Answer:	Just a quick correction to one of the above answers: this product uses 3 AA batteries, not 2. Included mounting options are: two sets of 3M strips, and 2 screws (vertical mounting only.)
Question:	Can you get additional stips if you change your mind and want it mounted somewhere else
Answer:	I would buy more command strips, either online or locally at a hardware store if needed.
Question:	Do these have enough light for reading
Answer:	Yes, but it also depends on where you're going to position the light. It wouldn't work if you had it too far away or in a poor position relative to the reading material.
