You only need the gateway if you do not have a SmartThings hub, or you want to control the lights from the Osram app. If you already have a hub, you don't need the gateway to connect them. And if you are connecting to an existing set, you don't need another power cord.On this specific seller. The one listed as "LED Expansion" has 2, The one listed as "LED Strip" has 3. If you have a hub and power connector already, getting 2 LED Expansion sets will be cheaper than getting 1 of the full sets, and you'll have 4 strips instead of 3. If you need the power cord, get the one labeled "LED Strip"

Answer:	The antenna is hot glued inside the unit around the perimeter (some of it runs under a circuit board). It is one of the black wires about 1.5 ft. long. Unless you live above the radio station the reception will be terrible. To get better reception you need to remove the screws and take off the top. Carefully break the antenna free from the glue and unwind it. Drill a small hole in the back and thread the antenna through the hole. Put it back together and position the antenna wire so that you get the best reception. Make sure that you identify and ONLY pull (it will take some effort) on the antenna wire when breaking it free and be careful not to damage any of the other components or wires.

Question:	I need these for the new bathroom fixture, but hate the fluorescent "washed out" look. do i want warmer with 3000 kelvins? or dayight
Answer:	My experience with trying to dim LED lights is that the technology for the dimmers isn't good enough to work properly. My dimmer switch for a bedroom lamp burned out from trying this. Best to use LEDs only for non-dimming purposes, stick with incandescent for dimming. Hopefully this will be changing.
Question:	are 20 inch led fluorescent light tubes made
Answer:	It’s because of proposition 65. The larger packs do not have the cancer warning on them. It’s the same reason why many products don’t ship to California on Amazon.
Question:	is it slim
Answer:	the description says Non-Dimmable, Instant On, Shatter resistant, Shock and vibration resistant but some reviewers say they are not Sylvania, will find out in a few days
Question:	whats the difference between cool light, warm light and daylight
Answer:	Contrary to most opinions here, it has nothing to do with Title 20 - the specs for these bulbs are way above Title 20 requirements. The reason this doesn't ship to CA (while smaller packs of the exact same light bulb do) is because of Proposition 65, related to the cancer warning on the packaging. This SKU doesn't have the warning on the package, while the smaller boxes do. The "lots of dim bulbs in CA" comment was really funny BTW. Maybe they should pass a proposition about that.

Answer:	It’s fairly short distance but perfect for under kitchen cabinets lights. If you want to turn them on from another room you are out of luck, but walk into the kitchen, pick up the remote and aim at the lights - poof - they are on!!

Question:	Can you set a timer for a solid color? When I press the timer button, my solid color starts to fade, flash, or strobe for 10 min, 30 min, and 60 min
Answer:	I had them three days and they all stopped working. So no, I am not able to answer your question.
Question:	When using the timer do they automatically turn on everyday
Answer:	No, You have to turn them on everyday and then set the timer
Question:	Can each lite be set to emit a different color at the same time? Even with they are very close to each other
Answer:	You can by taping each light separately, I dont think you can use the remote to do that.
Question:	The ad shows shades of purple light. I just received my lights and can’t figure out how to get more than red, green, blue and white
Answer:	You can get other colors if you hit any of the timer buttons. Then it will flash all of the colors. I dont think you can just pick purple though. I hope this helps.
