Answer:	Yes, they have metal rims, I believe either brass or aluminium and the actual optics is glass. They seem to be well made, durable and stackable.
Question:	How far down from the ceiling does it protrude once installed? In other words what is the thickness of the edge
Answer:	The reddish lens filter is used to change the temp for the light from Florissant lights to a more natural shade of light. The dark filter is a polarizer filter used like sunglasses for you camera to remove glair. The clearer filter has two main uses: one to protect you lens from contact from objects. second use is to absorb UV light also used to improve the color of the photo.
Question:	My hallway has a on off switch at both ends Will this light fixture work with the two on and off switches
Answer:	This filter kit is for 58mm lens regardless of the brand of camera. Yesterday I went to a camera shop and probe on a Nikon camera with 58 mm lens and it's adapted very well. I'm sorry for the delay in replying.
Question:	Does this have it's own on/off switch? or does it require a wall switch
Answer:	1.) The common lenses for Canons (50mm, 18-55mm, 55-250mm) all take the 58mm filters. Look at the front of your lens for a number with a circle dissected by a line in front of the number, and followed by mm. This is the filter size of that particular lens.2.) Yes, they're glass.3.) The appear to be of very good quality. The lens cap isn't as good as those made by Canon, but it still functions as you'd expect it to. I'm not a big fan of the leash (my personal preference, not a quality assessment), didn't buy it for that.I use a Canon T4i, and bought these for a Canon SL-1 that I got for my wife, so they should function with no problems for your T3i.Hope this helps.

Answer:	If you use the timer function on the remote for 120 minutes, then yes, the lights will turn off after 120 minutes. However, you also have the option of turning them off/on manually or not setting the timer at all and leaving them on as long as you like.

Question:	How to install 120 V
Answer:	? i've never had to change the batteries. I just went and took the light off its magnetic base. On the back it says "Open" and above is a tab -- I pull it down and off comes the cover. The two AA cells are visible. I take my finger nail to the top of the battery that is fully exposed, I comes out. The other battery then slips up and is removed. Then I just put back the two AA batteries (they don't currently need replacement) and it lights again. This is the simplest battery removal I've had on any device.
Question:	Can anyone send a wiring diagram to hook these up at 120V
Answer:	Yes I have 2 in my coat closet. I have 1 on the top and 1 on the middle shelves. I love these. Work great for quick grab flashlight!
Question:	Are these rated for wet, damp, or dry areas
Answer:	The light is bright within 1 to 2 feet, so if you are using the light to illuminate an small enclosed space, or a confined space such as under a wall cabinet or in a bookcase section, it will work fine. Beyond that distance, it won't do much. I use two lighting sticks inside a freezer compartment, and one lighting stick in the corner of a hallway to light up the corner at night when someone approaches.
Question:	What type of dimmer do i need for a 2x2 flat panel light
Answer:	No, it will not help if you want to enhance ambient light, since it ONLY comes on when it's pitch dark. I have three of these lights installed in my shed, and even when it's cloudy and rainy dark out, as long as there's some hint of light, these will not come on. Very disappointed.
