Answer:	I'm not sure... I'm just holding down a coated wire cage to keep rabbits out. I started using them in the 3rd week in Dec. The ground was partially frozen but they have held through the 10-20 mph winds we have had lately. I hammered them in place with a rubber mallet. So far so good.

Answer:	Yes, the stakes are sturdy enough to use as arbor anchors. I ordered them last year to use for holding multiple layers of newspaper underneath my mulch. (To prevent weeds, I used layers of newspaper in place of landscape fabric, which allows better penetration of nutrients and water to the plants/soil.) I still have a lot left from that project, so this year, I'll use them to anchor a lightweight metal exercise pen for my daughter's playful young puppies (to keep them out of the regular garden area, where their youthful curiosity causes problems).

Question:	Does the oil stay clean-looking or does it collect residue you can see through the glass? I want to leave it out most of the time
Answer:	I'd say close to 1 inch (without taking it apart to answer accurately)

Answer:	The poles work well when they are put up with the ones they give you. I believe when you go any higher they become pretty flimsy, and I wouldn’t recommend that, but I don’t believe for as many of these I have ordered, buying extensions was an option

Answer:	I'm not sure what you mean by "charging heads", but what you see is what you get. You get 4 tops and 4 stakes, put them together and you're set!

Answer:	HI. Not sure what you might be doing wrong. You might check the instructions again. I think there is a way to activate the button so that they will flicker as soon as it gets dark. If not, I would check with the mfg. We have 12 of these units and they work fine. Our neighbors also have a few and seem to work ok..

Answer:	Not by my definition of waterproof. Water resistant yes but it f you submerge them eventually your feet will get wet. Waterproof is only for rubber boots in my opinion these are leather and porous so eventually they would soak up water. With a good sealer you can make the a lot more water resistant.
Question:	If left outside will the “bowl” fill with water if rained on? I can’t tell from the pictures
Answer:	The D - M and 2E are reference to the foot width. I have a wide foot so I ordered the 12 2E. 2E is the widest on here to order. So the M would be a little wider then normal. I hope this helps some.

Answer:	I was never able to wear them as the angle is Is terribly narrow I plan to modify them by outing a zip on shoe maker These boots have a serious problem on the ankle
