Answer:	They are extremely quiet and no bass. They are disappointingly quiet for an outdoor setting. They may work for background music at a table when you are having a conversation and don't want loud music drowning you out, but for a party setting where you are trying to project music to an entire backyard instead of just a table, or for movies, they are completely insufficient. We bought them to use for backyard movie night and tried placing them about 15-20 feet away from eachother, at either side of the 'audience' chairs. It is so quiet we cannot hear the dialog in the movie, and it doesn't give any of the satisfying 'booming' bass sounds that you want from a theater experience. The lights are perfect for movie night though. They are low and add ambiance so you aren't completely in the dark, and they don't detract from the screen. We now use them as lights only, and purchased a different brand of speakers that sound much better and have bass, for approximately the same price (only they don't have lights). My recommendation, read some of the 3 star and below reviews, and you'll see that people aren't in low with the sound and loudness. I'm not sure why so many people say the sound is good, unless they are using them on a 10x10 apartment patio and don't want them to be very loud.

Answer:	Yes, and they are not loud enough. The lights are great for movie night, but they are low enough volume we would miss some dialog in quiet parts of the movie, and there is no bass- so no satisfying 'booms' in the action sequences or when the dramatic music comes on. We opted for different speakers for movie night, and use these only as lights.

Answer:	The older Malibu light set I had required that the 3 screws attached to the top be unscrewed to access the bulbs. The newer model can just have the entire top piece unscrewed from the stem to install the bulb. Much simpler than the older models.
Question:	Is there anywhere one can view the connector clip? i hated the blankety-blank connector clips on the older malibu path lights - and don't want that

If you are purchasing multiple extensions, use the T connector from the last extension lamp to connect the first or base unit bollard to the chain. The base unit does not come with a T connector. The last lamp on the chain does not need the T connector as it’s cord can connect directly to its extension cable which connects to lamp n-1’s T connector. Ignore the video and literature that shows the final T connector capped on the downstream side at the final lamp. For example, for a setup with 1 base bollard and 2 extension bollards. Connect the cable from the AC adapter to the base unit’s extension cable (if needed), then connect the extension cable, base bollard and the #1 extension bollard’s cable to the #2 extension bollard’s T connector. Next connect the #1 extension cable, #1 extension bollard and #2 extension cable to the #1 extension’s T connector. Finally connect the #2 extension cable to the #2 lamp.
