Answer:	Not sure . One of the reviews I read before I bought them said if wire comes apart they are not repairable. Mine did not brake. I put my on the top rail and when removing snow the wires frayed . Not repairable. The wires are very delicate. Other than that I love these lights they are very pretty. Will look to replace in spring.

Power on light by remote or wire switch

Press “TIME” with white color flashing once and green color lighting on the wire switch to activate, automatically stay 6 hours on and 18 hours off

When lights on, Press “TIME” again to turn off timer with white color flashing twice and green color off on the wire stitch

Answer:	My experience with white LED lights is how they are labeled. "Cool white" means they are the white/blue color while "warm white" means they have the yellowish color. Every transaction I have had with Novelty Light Co. has been exceptional. You can contact them by phone if there are questions and they will go out of their way to take care of you. They are a small US family company and they are the definition of "service." Good for you for going to LEDs. They are GREAT!

Answer:	I would not cut the lights! There’s a possibility that they would work, but I would just hide the excess.

Answer:	It does not come with a dimmer, but we replaced our wall switch with a dimmer switch and plugged the lights into a 110 lightbulb adapter (bought on Amazon) that the light switch (now the dimmer) controls.

Answer:	White string lights do not have any colored lights. Modes refers to the different lighting scenes such as flashing.

Answer:	They don't specify a lifespan, but as LEDs it should be very long. Also, they appear to be designed to be driven at 12 volts, but the power supply they come with puts out 4.5 volts. The manufacturer says this is to create a more pleasant light (I believe them, and they have a glow of about the same intensity as standard xmas lights), but it should also mean that the lights will last even longer since they're being under-driven. I expect these to last a decade or two based on my experiences with LEDs. The part that will probably fail before the lights is the power supply, depending on how good the components are inside the little box.
