Step 1) Remove the protective film from the solar panel on each light.



Step 2) Assemble the lights by connecting the head to the post, and then the connector to the post, and then another post to the connector (optional), and finally connect the bottom post to the stake.



Step 3) {Very Important} Look underneath the lid and see the printed “Open Close” instruction. Twist in the direction of “Open” to separate the lid from the lens.



Step 4) {Very Important} Pull out the battery tab underneath the lid.



Step 5) Reassemble by twisting the lens and the lid together in the close direction. Lastly, push the stake into the ground using a post. Do NOT push down on the lid, as you may damage the head assembly.

Answer:	Hey Customer, When triggered, theses solar lights outdoor will stay on about 20 seconds. And this motion sensor solar lights with 120º wide sensing angle, providing a bright lighting for a wide area. Hope it is helpful. Thanks.

Answer:	Availability of materials due to pandemic.
Question:	How long does the light stays on in dim light sensor mode
Answer:	Mine lasted around 3 hours (3 out of 8). One is completely dead (all the time). 2 last from 30 minutes to an hour. The other 2 last a little over an hour. By the packaging, it looks like it takes 20 hours to fully charge so you can only get the maximum time every 3rd or 4th if you do not use them in between charges, and they get full sun during the day (a week or longer if they get partial sun). I'm not satisfied with mine so they are going back after 3 weeks.

Question:	Is there any way to buy replacement stakes? Several of the plastic stakes have broken after trying to move the lights
Answer:	I've had the same issue with this style of solar lights. I ended up strapping them to the top corners of our backyard chain link fence. It looks great.
Question:	Does the light head tilt so that you can direct the light in a certain direction or does it simply shine upward
Answer:	Head does not tilt but light emits through head downwards
Question:	Can I replace the battery? (Solar lights need batteries to store charge so please dont respond there is no battery
Answer:	Yes, just undo the two phillips screws on the underside, slide off the cover and the battery is visible in a holder (not soldered in). You must get AAA Ni-Cad, not Li-Ion. Tip: slide out the + terminal, insert the battery, slide the + terminal back in. Be careful, the battery holder is not very strong.

Question:	The pictures shows two lock nuts for each light. I only received one per light. Anyone else
Answer:	If you are talking about the lock nuts for the stakes I got two for each light, one comes already installed on one of the stakes and I believe the other was loose in the box. You must use either a short stake or a long stake but can't use both. I had no shortages
Question:	What are you supposed to do once you take it out of the box to charge them? I keep getting dead lights that dont work
Answer:	The instructions state that you have to press the button to make sure they're turned 'on' or they won't charge.
Question:	How easy is to replace the battery
Answer:	The battery is located behind the solar panel, NOT in the lamp head. Remove the 4 screws behind the solar panel and you'll see the battery. One of my lights died after 2 months and I found that the battery had been glued in place. I managed to break the bond and remove the battery (the battery in the other light I bought is not glued in place). I replaced the original 18650 2200 mAh battery with a 5000 mAh version I found on Amazon.
Question:	How am i supposed to replace the battery after charging it? it is not sunny all day, everyday, even here in atlanta- duh
Answer:	I love these solar lights, however you do need the sun to recharge them. I would never bother to replace battery. I just plan on replacing them every year to year and a half. Connect the light to the ground bracket, insert the light vertically into the ground.

Loosen the knob screw to adjust the angle to get enough sunshine and tighten the knob screw.

Method 2: Mounting on a wall

Drill two holes in the wall with a drill bit and insert the attached wall plug into the holes.

2. It is normal that outdoor solar lights may need more time (at least 6-8 hours) to charge in cold or cloudy weather day because solar products are very weather sensitive.
3. The solar motion sensor landscaping lights' efficiency depends on sunlight intensity, weather conditions and other conditions.

Mode 1 - Low Light Stay-on Mode: Press the power button for once, the LED light will flash 1 time and then enters a Mode 1.

Mode 2- Low Light Sensor Mode: Under Mode 1, press the power button again, then the LED light will enter into a Mode 2. When it detects any motions, it will flash 2 times and enter into a High-light Mode and will return to Low-light Mode again in 20 seconds later if detects no new motions.

Mode 3 - High Light Sensor Mode: Under Mode 2, press the button again, then the LED light will flash 3 times and then goes off. When it detects motions, it enters into a High-light Mode and will automatically go off if no new motion-sensing is detected.

OFF: Under Mode 3, press the power button for the fourth time, the solar light will power off.

Answer:	Good questions. Alkaline batteries produce 1.5 volts, Lithium batteries typically produce 3 volts. You will want to make sure that the lithium batteries you use for this light only produce 1.5 volts. If 3 volt lithium batteries are used in this light it they would fry the circuit board.

Answer:	That lights is not 5mm it is 8mm so any 2 pin 8mm connector will work. May be you a confused with the length of the tape which is 5m. Multi color lights are 10mm 4 pin, one color lights are 8mm 2 pin.
Question:	what type of battery rechargeable it use? in case need to replace them
Answer:	The strip comes with a dimmer already wired into place. This dimmer works OK, but the dimmest setting is brighter than some might want. But this will not work with a normal dimmer switch. The reason has to do with how LEDs work compared to how incandescent bulbs work. Most dimmer switches are meant to be used with incandescent bulbs, and they vary the voltage sent to the bulb. Lower voltage means less light. But LEDs run at a constant voltage (12V in this case), and they are dimmed by circuitry that switches this constant voltage off an on many times a second. The ratio of how much of a second the voltage is on vs. how much of a second the voltage is off makes the LED dim. This is called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), and your normal dimmer will not do this. And if you're wondering about the dimmable LED bulbs that you can put in your house lights, these have electronics inside the base that handle this. Your house lights run on 120V AC, and the LED runs on 5V or 12V DC, so the light has to convert the 120V AC to the lower DC voltage anyway. They just add a little more circuitry to detect that your dimmer switch has lowered the AC voltage to 80 volts (for instance), so the converter still outputs the 5 or 12 volts necessary for the LED, but it add PWM to "dim" the LED inside.
