TEST MODE

Set-up:

Put the "Mode" switch at Test position.

Function:

• Light turns on for only 5 seconds during daytime or night once it detects motion.
• This mode is used for checking whether the sensor is working properly.
• Test Mode can work during daytime and night. Except Range, the Lux and Time Setting doesn't work while using this mode.

AUTO MODE

Set-up:

Put the "Mode" switch at Auto position.

Function:

• When sensor detects motion, it lights up for 1-10 minutes according to the time it has been set.
• While using auto mode, toggle switch off and 2 seconds later on again. Light turns on continuously for ca. 8 hrs and goes off at daytime.
• Auto Mode only works at night. When it's bright (> 100-150 LUX) around the sensor, light goes automatically back to Auto Mode.

ON TIME MODE

Set-up:

Put the "Mode" switch at On Time position.

Function:

• Light can work as a standard LED light without motion sensing.
• Light turns on when switch on, turns off when switch off.
• On Time Mode can work during daytime and night. The Lux, Time and Range Setting doesn't work while using this mode.

DUSK TO DAWN MODE

Set-up:

Put the "Mode" switch at D2D position.

Function:

• Light turns on automatically at dusk or night and turns off at dawn or if it’s too bright for your sensor.
• D2D Mode only works at night. When it's bright around the sensor, it goes off automatically. Except Lux, Time and Range doesn't work while using this mode.

Sensor Sensitivity

• For setting ambient brightness value to differ from daytime to night. If the ambient brightness value exceeds the setting Lux, it is defined as "daytime"; otherwise it's known as "nighttime".
• Position 0 equals 3 Lux, Position ∞ equals max Lux and it's always regard as night no matter how bright around the sensor.
• Lux setting only works in Auto Mode and D2D Mode.

Detecting Range

• Rotate the knob to adjust the sensing range to max ca. 50ft motion coverage.
• When you mount the light over 7.8ft, please adjust the sensor upwards and set max range to increase the coverage area. Time setting only works in Auto Mode.
• Range setting only works in Test Mode and Auto Mode.

Stand By Time

• Time knob is used for setting working time from 1-10 minutes when it detects motion.
• Time setting only works in Auto Mode.

Attention

• Make sure that there are no infrared or ambient lights pointing towards the motion sensor.
• Make sure that there are no other influence factors affect the performance of light.
• Be sure to disconnect the power before you install the light.
• Be sure to mount it in dry location, humid environment is not good for light's lifespan.

Answer:	One of mine burnt out within 2 years. It's great that there is a 5 year warranty but who is going to pay the electrician $150 bill to change out the whole unit? Would much rather have a replacable bulb.

Answer:	Not exactly sure of your question but the Hyperikon LED is a motion sensor light and from what I can tell from the other it is a floodlight and not a motion sensor light.
Question:	can this light be ceiling mounted
Answer:	Robert is right. 180 degree rotation, but I did not need pliers as the lock nut wasn't tight.
Question:	What's causing my lights to have a repeating pattern of on for 9 seconds and then off for 9 seconds
Answer:	For everyone that is still having issues...tilt the sensor as far down as you possibly can and see if that fixes the problem. I sent mine back and was still having an issue. I discovered that when the light came on it was shining too much on the sensor and it recognized that it was "daylight", so it turned off. Then in a few seconds it came back on because it was "night" again. And then the cycle just repeated.

Question:	I want to insert it into a glass lite globe and was wondering what is the diameter of the light
Answer:	The casing is black and the light from the bulb is white (we never checked to see it there were other color settings, sorry!). Totally powered by the sun, just stick it in the ground or mount on wall where it can receive sun. The brightness has 2 settings. We use the lower setting so that it lights our flag all night and it's quite bright even on the low setting.

Answer:	You could extend the spike, use rigid plastic tubing cut to desired length, set the ground spike in the tubing.
Question:	Very close. I want solar panels on top of fence, and grow lights shining below on shady side. Can I switch out bulb for a led grow bulb
Answer:	Try Megabatteries.com. They have a 3.7 volt 18650 replacement battery. A bit stronger at 3100mah.
Question:	If I have a down light on the top of my flag pole will this ground light still come on or will the down light interfere
Answer:	There is an on/off switch on the underside of the solar panel. Try that. My light only lasted about 4 weeks for 2016 Christmas. Would not work this year. Junk in my opinion!
