How to cut the carpet tape?

Be sure to use a knife to cut the tape from the paper side which faces up. Suggest cutting with a knife rather than scissors.

It takes about 3 or 4 good sized pieces on each end or side of the rug,you just have to apply it right! Rug will stop moving.

How to install the carpet tape?

1. Unroll your carpet tape and tape the sticky side to the floor surface on which your carpet or tile will be laid. Leave the paper side face up.

2. Peel off the paper side from each piece of tape after all the required tape pieces are in place.

3. Lay down your desired carpet, rug or tile on top of the exposed adhesive tape and press them firmly.

How to remove the carpet tape?

You can remove the carpet tape directly by hand. When removing this or any tape, you have to roll it like it's Elmer's glue on your hands. Pls don't pull it from corner or edge with too much force or tension, the wrong operation can easily damage the floor finish. Remember, gently roll from one end to another starting with a corner, or you can use a hair dryer to heat the carpet tape to soften it,and then you can remove the tape more easily and safely by hand.

Answer:	No, Hard flat surfaces only.

Answer:	They are great on hardwood floors and vinyl floors laminate floors not so much on rugs carpet they stay put on the vinyl on the laminate and hardwood floors but not so much on the carpet and so if you're going to put it on top of carpet they still moving a little not as much as if they're just regular

It doesn't work on every rug but with runners etc., it is terrific. Have had them for about a year in heavy traffic hallways and the rugs do not budge.

Question:	Can this be used on low carpet to keep a rug in place on carpet or is it only for use on hard floor surfaces
Answer:	A stick on vinyl tile is better.
Question:	what is the glue made of? Is it going to discolor my vinyl plank flooring
Answer:	Depending on how big the rug is and if you put all 10 stickers underneath it and how big and strong your dog is, I think a medium size dog would have to pull and pull on the rug for maybe an hour or more to get the rug loose. Just a friendly little suggestion from one who has 2 dogs--train yours to not take things out in the yard that he isn't supposed to--I know it takes time and determination to train a dog to do what you want them to do and not do, you can do it!
Question:	Does this work for tile
Answer:	This product itself has a relatively strong viscosity, whether there is a good bonding effect, but also affected by the contact surface.If your cement is smooth, clean, dry, hard enough, it will have a better bonding effect.But if your concrete is rough, there are dust, moisture, soft material, so that the bonding effect is not good.Recommended no matter what sticky, should keep the contact surface smooth, clean, dry, hard enough, hope this product can help you, thank you.

Answer:	Hi. I just checked. I had put them down a couple of months ago and forgot about it. When I lifted it up, there was no damage. It's super sticky, but it's a different kind of sticky if that makes sense.

Make sure the combined thickness of overlay and underlay do not exceed a total thickness of 1 inch, as our rug settlers work best for that thickness.

If the thickness of overlay 0.75 inch and thickness of underlay is also 0.25 inch, these settlers would work fine and will fit in well If the thickness of the both the layers is less than 1 inch, it will not fit in well and will give a bulge.
