As long as the sunshines they should come on automatically after dark and maintain the same mode as long as no one changes the mode. There are I think 8 modes and off. Only one mode is steady on.

Answer:	No angle brackets are included but these are so awesome it would be worth a run to Home Depot to get hardware to attach to your wall or deck.

Question:	Can you buy extension ground stakes to make torches taller
Answer:	They are the solar batteries...the solar panel charges them during the day. You need to make sure they are installed properly, and the button is pushed so that they can charge.
Question:	Can you buy extra ground stakes? The pointed plastic stakes break if the ground is hard

Question:	Can you order single units to replace a broken unit
Answer:	I had two strings last year and they worked this year. Don't know if they will next time though. I would imagine they will.
Question:	Is stakes made of plastic
Answer:	Once you set for steady, it should stay that way. However, I had a string of these lights that would slip into blinking mode all by themselves. If this Is happening to you, the solar panel is defective. Send it back and get another set of lights.
Question:	Can I get replacement stakes
Answer:	Is just solar changed and it changes during the day.
Question:	What is the largest diameter of the top cover
Answer:	Dear Rodd G., You can go with following :1)Find out the broken placement,there will have one or two points need to connect; 2)using the fire to burn the points where you need to connect, because the copper wire have one insulating layer coated; After turn the layer, it can power on; 3)Then to connect these poins; 4)After finished, also need to bundle some insulating tape, to prevent the short - circuit.
