Question:	can I install 2 . one on either end of a long driveway. 3 way capable
Answer:	These sensors will not work electrically like a 3 way switch. However, you can hook up more than one sensor to turn on a single light circuit. I have two sensors, one at the bottom of my entry stairs and one at the top. I wired them in parallel (black of both sensors get power from the same source, red from both sensors connect to the controlled light(s), and white of both sensors connected to a neutral. This does what I want. If I leave the house the upper sensor triggers and I have a lighted stairs. When I come home the bottom sensor triggers and I have a lighted stairs to the front door. As to timing, I set both sensors at the same time and sensitivity setting. Either sensor will bring on the light. Both senors need to be off to turn off the light. Perhaps this is what you meant by "3 way capable". Hope this helps - Ron

Answer:	it looks just like the picture, the lens is a cloudy white, and the rest of it is all white.

Answer:	This is not intended to screw into a light socket as you seem to surmise. It is intended to be attached to a knockout hole in an electrical box (either indoor or outdoor). You will then attach its wires to power and the lights to be controlled within the box in accordance with the instructions in the package. If you are not comfortable with home wiring, then I suggest you have the unit installed by an electrician. Adjustment of these devices is tedious to ensure that detection of what you want to detect (presumably persons) is detected and what you do not want detected (leaves in the wind, animals, noise, etc.) is not detected. This involves orienting the fixture and adjusting the sensitivity; this is a two-person job with whatever ladder you need to reach the device as it is installed. You may find that you need more than one sensor to do the job; it's just not possible to have a reliable detection region that is wide and thin. And, it cannot detect around corners. Good luck.

Answer:	I agree with you. I also did not find it very clear. My advice is to pay close attention to what to what is written not the diagram. It is very easy to install incorrectly otherwise. Also before you remove faulty sensor - not how the wires are attached and label them before removing. That way you can install replacement without instructions. Finally - new time delay switch is touchy. I would set it to middle position. Good luck.

Question:	The photo doesn't show any wires. Will there be wires
Answer:	JL,Yes....though the photo doesn't show it, there are three wires included in this unit. One goes to the "hot" wire of the circuit, one goes to the neutral of the circuit, and one goes to the load or light you wish to activate. Pretty much any of these replacement sensors are configured this way, although, if you read my review, I do not recommend this one, because of a variety of issues. Rest assured though, for about 3 or 4 dollars more, you can obtain a Heath/Zenith unit, which will work much better.
Question:	Does it come in white? Mycondo requires matching colors
Answer:	Yes it does come in white, but I don't have the white version. You can get it through another vendor I think. Thanks!
Question:	Does it work with regular led lights or only with dimmable leds
Answer:	This sensor works similar to a simple on and off switch. If it is dark and motion is detected it turns on. After a set period of time it shuts off. The load is irrelevant as long as it does not exceed 300 watts. So yes, this will work with both dimmable and nondimmable LED bulbs however, you will not be able to dim the dimmable bulbs.

Answer:	It may have temp compensation but locating it over an opening that is venting a pool area is beyond what the design is set up for. Ron

Answer:	It comes with the mounting stub as pictured. The mounting stub is the standard size for attaching to an electrical box (there are any number of options as to what size and style). I purchased this unit about a year ago and it has functioned flawlessly.
Question:	Can I use two of these in paralled to work one light? I want to mount them on the corners of a garage and turn on one central light
Answer:	My guess is you will burn them out. i tried this once with a water circulation pump (no light in the circuit) connected to a relay. A friend of mine had 3 of these in 3 different bathrooms in his house. the thought was as soon as someone walked into a bathroom, this device would activate a pump which would circulate hot water from the water tank to the fixtures (and hence the cold water in the line back to the tank for heating). We took precautions. first we made sure the power going to the 'hot' and neutral side of the sensors were from the same breaker (otherwise you could accidentally send 240 volts to the load if the sensors were on different sides of the line coming into your breaker panel). Second, we used a relay (mentioned earlier) as 'the load' because the draw (in amps) of the circulation pump was more than the sensor would allow as a pass though (you have to pay attention to the current these things will allow... watts, amps, miliamps - all need to know stuff! - we could have hooked it up directly, but it would have burned them out in short order, not to mention create a fire hazard). Finally, we ran all three of the load wires back to one junction box, tied them together with a wire nut (to complete the parallel connection you are talking about), and connected the load to the trigger side of the relay. we walked in each room and sure enough, the motion sensor engaged the relay, and the motor kicked on and the water circulated as designed. we thought we were home free. after about 2 months, we noticed one of the sensors was no longer activating the relay (and the pump did not run). we could eliminate the motor as it was completely separated from the electrical path. we discovered one of the motion sensors had burned out. replaced it, and all was well, and then a month later, a motion sensor from ANOTHER bathroom burned out. the relay hardly drew any power, so it couldn't be that. then we separated all of them and had three separate relays to engage the pump - never had another issue with burn-out. so what happened? we think if a person 'tripped' the motion sensor, it sent 110 volts to the load side of the other sensors (which were not activated by motion), and that 'back flow' of power messed up the electronics inside the sensors not in use. only explanation that made sense. so long story short, you could connect them in parallel, but i think they would burn out because of a 'back flow' between the devices. when we separated them with individual relays - no problems. e-circulation pump would have drawn more amps than the sensor allows to pass through we ranf the 'load' side of

Answer:	If your application requires it to work during the day just put electrical tape over the photo sensor and it works 24/7. I used sensor to activate a fountain pump 24/7

There lights have two modes : Mode 1: 1st press: Turns on with one flashing and turns to dim light 15s later. Turns to high bright light when detecting motion. Question:	I ordered the sensor lights, why are they staying on on all night when there is no motion
Answer:	Dear customer, Thanks for choosing Linkind LED solar motion sensor landscape spotlights. The motion sensor lights have two lighting modes. On the first press, it enters mode 1. Under this lighting mode, it will stay on all the night. But the difference is: when there's no motion, it is low brightness; when detecting motion, it turns to be high brightness, a little brighter than the low brightness. On the second press, it enters mode 2. It will only illuminate high brightness when detecting motion and goes off when there's no motion. Question:	One of the lights stopped working. Any ideas
Answer:	Even though they are supposed to be water proof, I will guess the one is leaking. When I bought a second solar light I put caulking around all possible places were water could get in.

Answer:	This unit is designed to be installed wall mounted. It can be mounted on the ceiling but it will not be effective. It will defeat the purpose. I do not recommend it to be installed in the ceiling
Question:	What is life expectancy of sensor part? They seem to go bad after a year
Answer:	Life expectancy is rather poor. Replaced one that failed (mounted in a dry location no less) in the fall then had to replace it again the following summer ~10 months. The careful observer of this product will notice that Heath Zenith reduced their warranty on their "dual bright" motion sensors from what was originally 10 years to 2 years if that tells you anything.
Question:	it s a waterproof
Answer:	Its an outdoor fixture..so, yes it is made to take outdoor weather however it must be installed properly. Now, with that being said; I have been using this brand for over twenty years and some will last 3 years others 10 years...Its generally the motion sensor portion that will fail!! Hope this helps..
Question:	does this light come on at night when activated, and not in the daytime
Answer:	The light only activates at night and not during the day - unless it is really overcast.You can make your sensitive and distance adjustments during the day - and the light does not come on but you will se a small red light blink instead - to let you know when the light would come on.I really like these lights, I have used 3 of them for many, many years and only recently just replaced 2 of them - the plastic covering over the sensor eventually gets brittle and cracks when you press on it - but the rest of the unit will hold up forever.

Question:	How does it withstand winter weather in Michigan
Answer:	We have only had ours mounted a few months but did have some snow a few days and they still worked great. No difference than warmer weather.
Question:	How fast does the light turn on once it detects motion? Instantly or is there a few second wait
Answer:	The light instantly turns on.
Question:	What are the diffrrent settings? A,B,C
Answer:	Only have one button on the back in a recessed area. No sliding switch. Wonder if they accidentally left it off ? If I click it it changes the mode each time I click, but it is hard to figure out which corresponds to A, B, & C in the instructions. Wonder if I should send the set of 4 that are like that back?
Question:	Is there a minimum size it detects—ie.will it detect a small dog, or just people
Answer:	Yes, a small dog will turn it on. Typically ours gets turned on at night by rabbits in our lawn. Doesn't bother it though, the solarpanels keep it charged and it always works.
