Question:	The motion sensor doesn’t seem to work, even with lux off
Answer:	I mounted one of mine underneath the soffit and it did not work well. The sensor has limited range in the upward direction. So when you have it mounted underneath a horizontal surface It ends up pointing mostly at the ground below and detection is ridiculously poor. I don’t recommend this fixture for such an application.

Answer:	"Switch Controlled" simply means this item is not controlled by any type of day/night or motion sensor. It is turned on and off manually when needed by using the light switch on the wall.

Answer:	This is an excellent light, however I would not use it for a flag pole. This is a wide angle flood light used to light up signs or walls. You should look for an outdoor rated spotlight rather than a flood light. The Newhouse BLF30BRZ is another option of light to use for this application.

Answer:	I installed three of these on three separate Leviton Decora Smart dimmers (part of my Wink smart home automation system) and they work great. I'm able to dim the fixtures output the full range of the dimmers capacity. There is a minimum light output of about half the total brightness of the fixture on these dimmers, after that the light shuts down. Full bright to half output, not bad.
