Question:	Can this produce blacklight effects or just a purple light
Answer:	It can display different colors, but only 1 color at a time. For example; I have two lamps and wanted 1 lamp to display a purple light and the other to display an orange light. My system does not have the ability to display different colors on each lamp.

Answer:	I use the HappyLighting Android Version v1.526 app. With that along the bottom of the screen you will see "adjust", "music", "tape", "style" and "timing" . Tap on timing and at the top of the screen it will say "Please select a device" put your finger in that phrase and then drag up and you will see your lights listed. tap on the light you want to control and from there you will see all the options for turning your lights on and off automatically with a timer, or on and off by day and time. The interface is not real intuitive. Good luck!

Answer:	NO. The connection is a screw, not a threaded tube for a 1/2" plate mount. The included screw is metric though and my existing mount had english threads. Had to also swap out the existing cross-mount plate. Included screw is also short and easy to drop and lose. Plan on trips to nearby Ace hardware.

Answer:	I'm pretty confident yes. Our house is only 2 yrs old and we have replaced some of the originals that went bad that were installed during construction with these. If the size is your major question, the is a small set screw on the spring arm that allows for either 5" or 6" openings. You'll have to adjust according to your application. The trim bevel is rather large and does a good job of covering the rough cut hole. Hope this helps!
