Answer:	I really don't know if parasols are more wind-resistant than umbrellas. Anyway, we gave this as a gift to a friend moving to another country. It is definitely beautiful.

Answer:	I don't remember. It broke the third time my niece used it. The mechanism that held the umbrella open, wouldn't stay up. I couldn't figure out how to repair it. By that time, it was too late to return it. Really, really sorry. It was elegant and beautiful, and my niece loved it, but it was actually too fragile, so I didn't order another one. {:-(
Question:	Doe anyone know if the grey liner is really grey; the two-fold appears to have a beige liner whereas the three-fold liner looks silver
Answer:	The liner is black. Take a look at the side panel of photos that show different views of the umbrella. Click on the one that shows the underside. It is black. I purchased the gold umbrella as a gift for a friend. It is gorgeous and definitely gold on top, but the liner is black. I have read that black actually deflects harmful sun rays better than white. I am not a scientist, so I don't know that for sure. But that is the purpose of a parasol. It is supposed to protect you from the sun. Hope this helps.
Question:	What is 2-fold and what is 3-fold
Answer:	2-fold just collapses into one long closed umbrella. A 3-fold has a hinged rib and folds in half after you collapse the umbrella and the handle slides up into itself (telescopes) to make a very compact umbrella when it is folded. I am probably not explaining it very well. Hope this helps a little.

Answer:	It has a very slight/subtle curve. It doesn't curve down like a normal umbrella by any means, but it isn't flat out so as to be parallel to the ground when held up either.

Answer:	They have a little more tension than a regular umbrella with metal parts, but are completely do-able. A very young child or very elderly person might struggle with them, but I've never had any problem opening or closing them.

Answer:	I actually received 6 and they are really nice and fabric. I did order two different sets in two different sizes to compliment each set. I have used them for many different events and they are very bright and cheery especially for the price. I hope this helped.

Answer:	Yes the parasol part would, but it doesn’t have a long pole on it. You would have to make some type of extension for it to work. It sounds like a good idea.

Answer:	I've had mine for over a year, but I've only used it 6 or 7 times. Mostly for sun shade at desert events, but I used it in the rain once. It has held up beautifully, and it's a big hit! I absolutely love it! It was a bit small for rain, didn't cover as much as a normal umbrella, but, I looked amazing! Lol! I probably wouldn't use it if it were really windy, just because I like it so much, I wouldn't want it to get messed up. Also, the pics don't show it, but the black contrast stripes have small white polka dots. (I have the black and white one) Not exactly the look I was going for, but it's ok. I may still go over it with a sharpie and color them in one day, but probly not.

Answer:	I bought the black one and use it in Las Vegas NV. I have very fair skin and it has protected me well from the very high UV sun rays here. The actual UV rating I have no idea but it has kept me from getting burnt and I burn very easily.

Question:	Are these waterproof and UV blockage
Answer:	No it is not waterproof, it is made of paper, it would be damaged. It doesn't block anymore UV than holding up a napkin. I have not tested this theory though. Honestly, if I were looking for something with real UV protection, I'd go with a known brand of umbrella, which doesn't look like this. It is cute though, if it lasts long enough to shade you a bit while at a special outing. Mine sadly did not even last opening it twice within fifteen minutes, straight out of the package. It shredded completely and I had to throw it out at the event, and just got lucky in not needing it much after that as the sun was setting.
Question:	Is this lightweight? Good for shade
Answer:	Its very light weight. Also good for shade. Only thing is that the handle is a bit short. You will be holding it pretty close to you for the shade.

Answer:	I honestly do not know measurements of the handle. However, they worked wonderful for a beach wedding and to hold above one person.
