Answer:	Load paper.(1) Open the paper support, and pull it out.(2) Open the front cover gently. Important If the disc tray guide (A) is open, close it. (3) Pull out the paper output tray. (4) Slide the paper guides (B) to open them, and load the paper in the center of the rear tray WITH THE PRINT SIDE FACING YOU.(5) Slide the paper guides (B) to align them with both sides of the paper stack.Do not slide the paper guides too hard. The paper may not be fed properly. Important Always load paper in the portrait orientation (C). Loading paper in the landscape orientation (D) can cause paper jams.NOTE: This printer is a quality printer for excellent copies. If you are looking for a production type printer where you can do many copies, it would be best that you go to a copy store and have them do it. Question:	Does the PIXMA i8720 handle card stock well? I run a very small greetings card business, and my current printer murders card stock
Answer:	The heaviest we've printed is 140 lb paper by Strathmore. We also print greeting and post cards; aside of drymounting photo paper to card stock (whose photo quality absolutely can't be beat), the best paper we've found for iP8720 direct printing is Canson Stamping Cards (beats Strathmore's inket offerings hands-down; we found it on Dick Blick's site). I don't know if Canson publishes this specific product's weight, but it's probably around ~110 lbs.
Question:	does it scan and copy
Answer:	The previous answer ("Copies, but doesn't scan") is WRONG. I've checked the printer and the users manual, and the iP8720 does NOT have scan capability. It is a printer only--not a fax, not a scanner, not a copier. If you need to scan and copy, then you need a different machine. The main value of the iP8720 is for large-format (up to about 13" by 19") printing. If you don't need that capability, then you'd be much better off with a standard-format all-in-one.

Answer:	I still have this printer and used it for many years. It makes GREAT color photo prints up to 8.5x11 if you ave good digital images to start with. I changed over to a "mega-tank" printer which used bottled ink to refill the printer at a much lower cost. The small replaceable tanks in the G4210 are $18+ each and are good for about 50 to 60 color prints before they need to be replaced. I printed 600+ color prints with the "mega-tank" and only used about 60% of the original ink bottles supplied with that printer.

Answer:	Bottom line, this printer DOES NOT have auto duplex printing, as stated on the Consumer Reports website: https://www.consumerreports.org/printers/canon-pixma-g4210-supertank-printer-review/ Whoever created this product page on Amazon created a photo with false advertising. Specifically, the 2nd photo that states "Auto Duplex Printing". This product page SHOULD be removed due to false advertising to Amazon customers!
Question:	How does the G4210 differ from the G
Answer:	Did you notice how Canon side stepped your question? They refuse to tell you the differences. I know, I’ve tried numerous times to find out why they released a new version of the G4200. The last response was something like “We just can’t get into that.” The most I could get out of them was that the absorber pads are larger. Their silence sounds like a cover-up to hide a flaw in the G4200 until all of them are sold. Otherwise why would they be so tight lipped? I love my Canon printers but such behavior makes me feel like I can’t trust them.

Answer:	I have no idea. Check your printer specs or Amazon’s list of printer ink

Answer:	Not sure they are different cartridges you need to ask Canon if there is compatiabability. When my cartridges run out I refill with ink refills and so far so good. Perfect way to save and am getting better with doing it at first it was messy

Answer:	Impossible to answer. What is printed on the pages? All text? Every line? Bold? No way to answer how many "pages".

Question:	I have a tr8320 what is the difference between pbbk 280 and 281xxl ? i can't seem to find the pgbk anywhere
Answer:	I don't know. I used Canon inks but they proved t be t expensive. Sort of like the cheap Polaroid camera & its expensive film. Check out E-Z Ink (TM) Compatible Ink Cartridge Replacement for Canon…$32.99 on Amazon for your printer. I am on my 2nd order, they seem to last longer and you can't tell the difference. Hope this helps.
Question:	Do you need to buy all the color just to print black and white
Answer:	I have a Canon TR 8500 & I believe you need to have all of the cartridges installed to print. However, you can still print black even if the color cartridges are empty. To force the printer to do this, go to the printer preferences. To get to that in Windows 10, hold down the Windows key & press I, click Devices, Printers & scanners, Canon TR8500 Series, Manage, Printer Preferences. Then Page Setup, Print Options (on the bottom of the screen), Print with (again on the bottom of the screen): select Only PGBK Black.
Question:	What is the difference between the 280 xl and the 280xxl ink tanks? why have 2 separate black ink tanks of 2 different physical sizes
Answer:	Hi! The PGI-280XL black ink cartridge holds 18.5 ml of ink while the PGI-280XXL holds 25.7 ml. A regular-sized cartridge holds 11.2 ml of ink. If your printer features two black ink cartridges, the larger cartridge is for document printing on plain paper and the smaller cartridge is for printing photos on genuine Canon photo paper. Answer:	Regular - The Canon regular ink cartridge lists the ink number and other important information, i.e. the color and the maximum page yield. For most canon printers, that is usually around 150 to 200 pages, depending on the model number. XL - The Canon XL ink cartridge will have twice the amount of ink and can be cheaper than buying two regular packages.
