You ABSOLUTELY can cut them at the correct location on the strips and use 10mm 4 pin Solder less coupler, Tee’s or 90 degree clips to connect them. The only thing you really need to consider is power. Look at the power supply you intend you use to make sure it have enough output to handle the voltage drop and don’t connect too many together.
