Question:	Could i connect three outgoing wires to this (each routing to a short led run
Answer:	The sonoff basic r2 is just an wifi AC switch. If you want to make it control buttons on the FAN you will have to modify the sonoff to disconnect the AC output side so that it will become a dry contact switch. Look for videos on youtube if that is what you need.
Question:	Do I have to use low voltage cable? Can I use the existing 12 gauge wire for the output
Answer:	It is only a wifi relay, no power, no transformers, only a contact managed thru a wifi connection.

Answer:	Absolutely BUT....... There are much better solutions. More expensive but you will be dissappointed with the "Basic " in this application. It is large relative to most electrical boxes. Unless you flash and program the unit , you will have no manual at the plate control of the light. So if the internet is down for any reason no lights. And you can only use a device to turn the lights on, no wall switch. . I have used these BUT the sonoff mini is much smaller and is set up to use with the wall switch and twice as expensive. That is still cheap. The "Shelly 1" is bit more expensive but smaller and has a higher amp rating. Question:	The dimming driver beeps when in use. Is this caused by improper installation
Answer:	You might do that but I would NOT recommend it. Voltage drop would reduce brightness in all three and potentially burn out the switch to boot. If I were facing a project like this in the future I would run line voltage to three regular outlets located at appropriate spacing for the lighting effect I wanted. I would control all three outlets' power through a dimmer. (one switch -> 3 outlets). THEN I would plug in the low voltage transformer that comes with each light kit into their respective outlets. No voltage drop. Bright lights. You can still dim them with one switch. Those low voltage controls are expensive and the transformer needed to drive the lights is really expensive. Stay with line voltage (house current) as far as possible. Line voltage dimmers aren't cheep but much less than all the low voltage controls.
Question:	Can this be used with the leviton dw6hd-1bz decora smart wi-fi 600w incandescent/300w led dimmer
Answer:	12 gauge is more than capable of passing low voltage current. The challenge is in joining the wires, ideally by solder, to the Hitlights accessory connectors. You still buy a Hitlights connectors (a) cut off one end and attach by solder to the higher gauge wire and add a gasket/cover (b) clamp the other

Question:	How many watts of dimming driver is suitable for this light bar
Answer:	Its a magnetic transformer so the heat should not bother it. But never go over 80% of the transformer rating. if its in a attic i would stay around 70% just to play it safe

Answer:	I didn't shoot it with an IR gun...but it does get warm and it was only pulling 1.2a DC with my fluke multi meter.

Answer:	2-pin only. RGB, RGBW, and CW-WW tuneables won't work as designed on a 2-pin setup. I would suggest a different product if you already own the 4-pin LEDs.

Question:	Will this work with a 4 pin led or 2 pin because i only see 2 wires coming out
Answer:	The schematic above shows where the ground wire goes.

Answer:	Not installed yet, but this is 4th LED install I have made. Been satisfied with Hitlights products. The 100 W driver connected to 2 high density LED lights, 888 W total.
Question:	Where is the terminal for the ground wire
Answer:	Safe? They do get a little warm to the touch, mine are in the open air of the roof trusses in my shop and get dusty, but no problems so far. These certainly outlast the originally supplied transformers with my LED system. 95% failure rate with the original power supplies--NO FAILURES WITH THESE DEVICES, but they are pricey.
Question:	Worth buying
Answer:	You need to know the wattage of your lights. The volts the driver puts out times the amps of the driver tells you how many watts it will power. For example if the driver is 12 v. and 2 amp. it could power 24 watts. Although you shouldn't take right to 100% capacity so about 20 watts.

Question:	Does it come with a plug or do I need to get my own
Answer:	Mine do not flicker, so I’m not sure what would be causing that. If you have the app, you could go in and make sure they’re online and turn the brightness up to max. Not sure that will fix the issue, but it’s worth a try.
Question:	I want to connect 2 of these, actual power 44W or 48 W each, with one dimmer/switch in my van. What dimmer do you recommend
Answer:	As long as they are the right size, they should work just fine. I had to set mine up by plugging them in one at a time. Once they were set up, I created a group so they could be controlled together.

Answer:	You can have multiple runs from the transformer, but the total wattage of all runs can not exceed 150 watt load. If there is not enough room for all of the wires in the transformer compartment, you may to have splice together each pair of the wires outside of the box and then tail off two wires to go inside the transformer compartment. The two wires going to the transformer must have an amperage rating of the total load. If you had a total load of 150 watt, the two wire going to the transformer would have be rated for 12.5 amps (150 Watts divided by 12 Volts = 12.5 Amps).
Question:	Can I wire these directly to a 12 volt source? I want to use them in a enclosed trailer
Answer:	I use it in my basement to feed low voltage lighting in a pantry area. The driver is on the wall approximately 5 feet off the ground. I have no threat of moisture. However, there is no rubber or moisture protection for the casing around the driver / transformer. The transformer inside the black casing is directly against the sides of said casing. No air gap whatsoever. I would recommend keeping it away from any area that could leave it vulnerable to direct moisture. If not you risk damaging the unit beyond use and tripping your breaker. A toe-kick area in my opinion would not be ideal. You may want to consider feeding Romex inside the base on the cabinet and maybe mounting it in the back corner on the wall in the cabinet itself. There are two mounting holes on top. Otherwise this works great. Hope this helps.
