Answer:	No. It is self contained. You charge the internal battery with a small cable. You can tell when it is fully charged. I usually charge it once a week depending on how much I use it. Maybe you could leave the charging cable plugged in--I have not tried using it that way. But there is NO timer.

Answer:	2032 batteries can be purchased at Harbor Freight very cheaply. They work just fine.
Question:	How bright is the light? Can you adjust the brightness
Answer:	When I first got it, it was bright!, now it is dimmer and flickers (got to get me new batteries); I did not measure, but I will approximate a diameter of 9 or 10in, and NO; brightness cannot be adjusted.
