I do not know your application but a voltage adjustable power supply will work as long as it delivers enough amps to drive the leds. I think one light strip of about 16 feet draws about 6 amps. In a car that produces up to 14.5 volts, a dc to dc reducing power supply would do it. Hook it up and with a volt meter and a small screwdriver turn the potentiometer off the power supply to set voltage to desired light output. |

1. The Density of Your LED Strips.
You can understand it as “distance” between 2 LEDs on your LED strip.
If the LED strip you use is of quite big “distance” between 2 LEDs, (i.e, 30 LEDs per Meter LED strips ), no matter which aluminum channel you choose, it can NOT create spot-free lighting effect.
However, if you are using a LED strip with 120 LEDs/Meter, with most aluminum channels, (i.e, Litever LL-007-M,LL-007-A, LL-007-F, LL-007-G, LL-017-DS, etc), it can create perfect spot-free lighting effect.
2. Depth of the Aluminum Channel.
The deeper the aluminum channel, the easier to get spot-free lighting effect.
When using 60 LEDs/Meter LED strip, for most shallow aluminum channels, i.e, LL-007-F, LL-007-G, LL-007-M, the LED spots can be seen.
However, if you put the same 60 LEDs/Meter LED strip inside deeper aluminum channels, i.e, LL-007-A / LL-007-B / LL-007-MH, no LED spots at all.
3. Brightness of each LED.
The brighter the LED, the easier to get spot-free lighting effect.
