Question:	how wide are the strips and what l shaped connectors would you recommend for use with these strips
Answer:	The strip comes with a dimmer already wired into place. This dimmer works OK, but the dimmest setting is brighter than some might want. But this will not work with a normal dimmer switch. The reason has to do with how LEDs work compared to how incandescent bulbs work. Most dimmer switches are meant to be used with incandescent bulbs, and they vary the voltage sent to the bulb. Lower voltage means less light. But LEDs run at a constant voltage (12V in this case), and they are dimmed by circuitry that switches this constant voltage off an on many times a second. The ratio of how much of a second the voltage is on vs. how much of a second the voltage is off makes the LED dim. This is called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), and your normal dimmer will not do this. And if you're wondering about the dimmable LED bulbs that you can put in your house lights, these have electronics inside the base that handle this. Your house lights run on 120V AC, and the LED runs on 5V or 12V DC, so the light has to convert the 120V AC to the lower DC voltage anyway. They just add a little more circuitry to detect that your dimmer switch has lowered the AC voltage to 80 volts (for instance), so the converter still outputs the 5 or 12 volts necessary for the LED, but it add PWM to "dim" the LED inside.

Answer:	I love these candles. They don't work with a remote. You have to unscrew the bottom to put in your batteries and on one side of the battery area is a switch. You can choose to turn them off and on every day (what a pain) or you can choose the timer mode and it will begin at the same time every day and end that way as well. Answer:	I don't recall mine having a motion sensor--they work like a regular light, on/off at the switch. Wonder if that was a misprint.

Answer:	They are LEDs, not standard bulbs. LEDs typically last for years with normal use. But, yes, then you would have to replace the whole unit.

Question:	Does this work with Siri’s and HomeKit
Answer:	HomeKit is not directly supported. However I was able to set up Homebridge (it’s fairly technical, but doable). Homebridge bridges Alexa and Google compatible devices to HomeKit. With this installed, I can control these lights with HomeKit and Siri, and it gives me both brightness and color control.
Question:	Is the 32' length continuous or is it 2 separate 16' strips that both have to connect to the module
Answer:	The 32.8ft kit comes with 2 separate 16.4ft led light strips which should be connected to the same control box with 2 splitters. Need more help, please feel free to contact us via [email protected]
Question:	can I shorten the strip
Answer:	After cutting how do I connect it to the other part of the strip?
Question:	How long do these last until they die
Answer:	I bought mine 2 years ago, and use them religiously. My room has no other lights. They suck at sticking, but you can find ways to get them to stick. The electrical cord can be longer if you plan to have them on the ceiling and the app needs a function to control them all at once. But they last quite a while, least for my two. I plan on buying 4 more soon
